Ok, my mind is blown with Replit Agents. I started using it because I was bored on a train ride a couple of days ago. So today I tried to build a Trello clone and build a fully functional app in like 45 mins. I showed it to a few people in the office and the guy is like "I should quit my job." He built a stock tracking app in 2 mins and added a few features he wanted. I can't imagine the world being the same in 10 years if software writing could be supercharged like this. Replit has really hit it out of the park. I don't need ChatGPT now. I'll just build apps in Replit. I'm a fan and a convert.

so I started with FreeCAD, since i am a linux guy, haven't touched windows since the past 8 years. Also I did this online course from Uni of California Irvine on "building your hardware for your embedded and IoT projects" which had FreeCAD as the main CAD software. FreeCAD was free, and fun, yeah a bit buggy sometimes but gets the job done, since initially all the CAD work i had was just builidng cases, or mounts, or some light hobby stuff. So FreeCAD did just fine. Then I joined a company as a product engineer where I worked with LiFePo4 home energy storage battery packs and was responsible for all the modules of the pack (Cells, BMS, MCUs, Touch Display ) mainly the embedded system. Since I was the product engineer, I'd have back and forth convos with the CAD designers off the battery pack box/casing. I didn't really do any CAD work on that project, tho it seemed really interesting to me. They used Solidworks, and I installed windows for it(swallowing that was difficult); to do Solidworks in my free time which I hardly got. I tried Solidworks and I kinda liked it. But then I quit the job and started working on my SAAS products. A few months into it, it's not fun anymore, slowly getting started with CAD and eventually to electronics to hardware products. Now, I want to go about CAD. I'll be doing a 30 days CAD challenge increasing in complexity and will be sharing daily progress here! It was day 2; I designer a bolt and a nut. I'm going with Fusion 360 for now, coz i like the UI/UX and the hobbyist version is free. So yeah. This is so much fun, i completely lost track of time while doing it. Gemini on the side is alot helpful.

I officially started streaming as Sym in feb 2025, but those who don't know, I used to be another streamer known as shiohh. And although I left on a good note with shio, I had been struggling a LOT behind the scenes with my mental health for a long time. Sym was my escape from reality by allowing myself to freely express how I was actually feeling at the time. Sad, lonely, out of touch, distant from the world etc. And although on shio, I looked like I was having a good time, I felt out of touch with myself and community. You may go and look up my previous self and think I had a lot of followers, however I struggled to make a connection with them, and it was obvious in my actual viewership. But with Sym, I feel a deep sense of connection and community, I feel seen, I feel heard, and I feel like MYSELF! 2025 was a year of self discovery, and you all really helped me with this, without you, there would be no me. the REAL me. So thank you so much for allowing me to be my true authentic self, and for enjoying who I really am. The birthday that stuck with me the most was my 7th. I wanted a skateboard so badly back then. Really badly. I saw it, but it was very expensive and also quite dangerous. I had seen it in a sports store and thought, Oh, I would love to have that so much. And my mum, it cost around 80€. Mum ended up surprising me not only with the skateboard but also with the case, I was like, “I can’t believe it!” But really, the case cost another 10€, I was over the moon. I’ll never forget that birthday. Not bc of the gifts themselves, but bc of that feeling of attention and care. My mum worked a lot back then, but she didn’t earn much. #zeudiners

just dropped my first video in a 5 part series where we build a full travel planner app on Replit and i am so excited 🌍✈️ as a software engineer, design has always felt a little out of reach for me. like i had all these ideas in my head but turning them into something that actually looks good was a whole other skill set. but the Replit Canvas genuinely changed that for me. my favourite way to use the Canvas is to bring in reference images and websites to help me to create designs! in this first video we jump into the Canvas, explore design directions for our travel app, and apply a final look to a real working app. it is so fun i promise. go watch it and let me know what you think 🎨👇

Most AI slop consumer apps will be DEAD in 5 years. I think this is where the market is headed I was bored today so I texted Rork to make me a Snake game. 2 minutes later I'm playing snake on my phone. I also did this yesterday with a to-do list app. In a way Rork is like a super app That can make apps on your phone. And it's not hard for consumers To utilize, This game took 1 prompt. most simple apps that can be one shotted with 1 prompt are most likely done for once this hits the consumer market. Eventually all the slop apps will be filtered out. And the apps that will survive are the ones that have community, gamification and identity that can't be replicated So Start building Genuine banger apps.

🧸: today I went to do something that was really fun. Also, today I got to play with a hamster. Honestly though, a fun fact: my first pet was a hamster. I’ve had so many pets. Starting from fish, hamster, porcupine/hedgehog, Japanese turtle the little one, chinchilla, and then Padi and Tobi (her dogs) – these are all my pets. But I had a hamster that I really loved, and I named it ‘Crazy’, confusing, right? But they died. I’m not sure what happened because I was still young. But I did care for them really well. I’m not sure what happened they just suddenly went still/stiff. I was shocked and was really traumatised. Also, my chinchilla, I named it ‘Khai dun’ (steamed egg custard), and I named the second one ‘Khai dun the 2nd’. Confused why I named them this, right? I’m not sure. I was used to it already (the name). The first ‘Khai dun’ made me really sad and missed them so much, so I named the second chinchilla the same name. #MiuNatsha #หมิวณัชชา #ลีน่าหมิว #LenaMiu

There was an event I was offered full sponsorship to China, and I needed to pay for the ticket. I tried to find the visa, but I did not have a fat account, so I was not cleared. I went to the ministry, too much back and forth, the dates arrived, I was not set, and that is how I missed. From there, I made a commitment not to rely on someone. Q: becky, please tell us about preparing yourself for the hyrox competition! 🧚‍♀️: it happened so unexpectedly, actually. i didn't think i'd have time, but as soon as the team was set, i was like, okay, why not? i had seen it trending for a while, so i thought, okay, let's give it a try. but when i actually did it... 1k on the ski erg was not easy at all, and 1k on the rower wasn't easy either, though rowing was easier than skiing. with the ski erg, my arms were aching. everyone would probably say my posture was all wrong! to be honest, i wasn't really good at it, but i wanted to try and push myself with things i'd never done before. training with so many people was fun a totally different vibe and mood. i tried my best with running because running is the most exhausting part for me. i tried to push as hard as i could. rowing was fine, i could manage that, but running and skiing together... because you have to run, then ski, then run again, then row, right? running really takes it out of you, i think. #beckysangels‌

Q: becky, please tell us about preparing yourself for the hyrox competition! 🧚‍♀️: it happened so unexpectedly, actually. i didn't think i'd have time, but as soon as the team was set, i was like, okay, why not? i had seen it trending for a while, so i thought, okay, let's give it a try. but when i actually did it... 1k on the ski erg was not easy at all, and 1k on the rower wasn't easy either, though rowing was easier than skiing. with the ski erg, my arms were aching. everyone would probably say my posture was all wrong! to be honest, i wasn't really good at it, but i wanted to try and push myself with things i'd never done before. training with so many people was fun a totally different vibe and mood. i tried my best with running because running is the most exhausting part for me. i tried to push as hard as i could. rowing was fine, i could manage that, but running and skiing together... because you have to run, then ski, then run again, then row, right? running really takes it out of you, i think. #beckysangels‌
