I think it draining hunger is overall the better solution, it just needs to drain less, like just more than jumping does imo alternatively, a "Potion of Replenishment" that's just regeneration for hunger would be a cool addition

They should make it so you can eat cake while at full hunger. It'd be a nice way to make players want to use cakes (also make them stack like in Bedrock)

Since its a parkour course with floating NoAI mobs anyways, you could just run a command to give infinite saturation Its unfortunate how people are using this as a leverage to hate on mojang when the switch to hunger was so much better

I love how good the idea of the spear is and how dogshit mojang is at balancing it

Farmer’s delight nourishment buff could solve this problem completely, it gives you infinite saturation and hunger for a certain amount of time usually 3-5 minutes depending on the food

Why are Mojang so goddamn stupid dawg why they gotta add 5 billion downsides to the new cool mobility item??? Just like, make it not break instantly and not make us starve like god is it that hard.
