I’m not a political person, but you don’t have to be a genius to see what’s going on. Illegal immigration is finally being addressed. Many on the Right may not show compassion, but at the core, this is about power and control. States like California have gained extra seats in Congress by including illegal immigrants in their census counts. That loophole is closing this year. People here illegally will either return home voluntarily or face arrest and deportation. What’s surprising is that Trump has surged by 40 points among legal immigrants. Even they don’t support unchecked illegal immigration — and neither do most Americans. If Democrats keep siding with non-citizens over citizens, they’ll lose support. Americans want leaders who prioritize them. Until that changes, the Democrats may struggle to win future elections.
