#山根涼羽 Zunchan was clarifying something she said in her seitansai speech that seems to have been misunderstood after only a certain part was clipped and shared online. What she meant was never that AKB was “better” than KLP, or that she was criticizing KLP, Malaysia, or the people around her there. She explained that she is genuinely grateful for the environment she had in KLP, and at the same time, her experience in Malaysia made her realize how many things in AKB she had previously taken for granted. With KLP, they were essentially building a 48 Group and its idol culture from the ground up in a place where that system and environment were not already established. There were a lot of fun experiences, but naturally there were also difficult things that came with having to create something from scratch. Because she went through that experience, when she returned to AKB, she became more aware of all the things that were already established and prepared for the members there, and it made her feel grateful for the AKB environment as well. She specifically emphasized that this was NOT about saying one place was better than the other. She said that both places were wonderful to her, both were places she loved, and that was what she had wanted to convey. She also mentioned that some Malaysian fans had misunderstood what she meant, and clarified that she never intended for her words to be used to attack anyone. So I hope people can listen to what she is actually saying here rather than judging her based only on a clipped portion of her speech. Her point was about gaining a new appreciation for both environments through her experiences in each of them, not putting one down to praise the other.

CUTE TOGETHER WITH EMIBONNIE #CUTEPRESSXEMIBONNIE 🎤: Let's talk abt the characters that you played in #USTheSeries, Pam and Dokrak. If you could go back in time, what would you want to tell the characters? 🐰: It was wonderful to meet you. 🦊: It was wonderful to meet you? 🐰: It was wonderful to meet you, bc there was a period of time when Dokrak really influenced me. 🦊: How so? 🐰: She made me think more positively. 🦊: Ahh. 🐰: Dokrak is... she goes by her logic but she also goes by her feelings. She walks the middle path, but she also looks at the world more positively than I do. She's a well-balanced person. 🦊: She's bright and cheerful. 🐰: She's bright and cheerful. 🎤: Would you say that she's like you, Bonnie? 🐰: Her cheerfulness, yes, but in some things I might not be as optimistic as Dokrak. 🎤: She was just very cheerful? 🦊: She was really positive. 🐰: She was really positive for everything, like over 100% confidence, super amazing girl. I might not be as confident or be as unafraid as her to express myself. But she helped me be more cheerful and dare to express myself. 🎤: What abt P'Pam? 🦊: During that time, I was depressed, I was just depressed. I don't really want to think back to that time. 🎤: Your character wasn't very happy. 🦊: With the character and other things too. 🐰: The character had a lot of layers, so it was stressful. 🦊: She had a lot in her background. 🎤: The character was complicated, right? 🦊: Yeah, she was sad all the time. Sometimes, I don't really want to think abt that time. 🎤: I thought it was love scenes all the time. 🦊: Oh! If it was love scenes, then those were good times for me. 🐰: Strange. 🦊: Bc those were the times I could be cheerful. When it was things abt my family or things like that, it was stressful, but for the love scenes I could just let go. 🐰: But 'Us' had a lot of drama. I cried in every scene– I mean, queue. 🦊: There was a lot of drama.

There are dogs that make people wait a very long time before their true nature appears. Iris was one of them.💔 When she first arrived at her foster home, Iris almost disappeared. She chose a small corner behind a planter in the yard and stayed there. No running, no barking, and she refused to come inside. Each time she was called, Iris would only poke her head through the doorway and then quickly pull back. Her foster family had to carry her food bowl all the way to the spot where she sat. This continued for an entire month. No one knows exactly what Iris had endured before. All that was clear was that her fear ran so deep it had shrunk the whole world down to one small corner of the yard. On rainy days she still sat there. On quiet afternoons she did not move. Time passed slowly, and the foster family did only one thing: they did not force her. Then one afternoon everything changed without warning. Iris began to bark. Not a warning bark, but a joyful one. She leaped up, raced around the yard, and pounced like a baby elephant discovering its own legs. From a creature that had seemed almost frozen, Iris suddenly became a dog who knew how to play, how to be happy, and how to trust. What makes this story special is not the sudden change itself. It is the long stretch of silence that came before. Sitting still for a month was not stubbornness. It was the time Iris needed to be sure that no one would hurt her again. The patience of her foster family created that safe space. They never tried to pull her out of the corner. They simply stayed, long enough for her to decide on her own. Looking back, Iris teaches a simple lesson about healing. Love does not always need to be shown through big actions. Sometimes it is enough for someone to wait, without pushing, without judging, so that a frightened heart can slowly open. The instinct to live and to play had always been inside Iris. It only needed a safe enough environment to rise again. Today, when people watch the images of Iris bouncing joyfully around the yard, it is hard to imagine she was once the dog who dared only to sit in one corner for thirty days. That contrast is the clearest proof: when given enough time and respect, even the deepest wounds can heal 💗
