Armed with a knife, Guzman reportedly held both girls at knifepoint to control the situation and prevent resistance or escape. He then forcibly raped the 11-year-old girl in the bedroom while threatening her with the knife. After the attack, the girls reported what happened to their mother and stepfather, who immediately contacted the Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office. Investigators identified Guzman through their inquiry, and he was arrested — He was also wanted on a prior failure-to-appear warrant in the county.
