Look at this. is that a lighthouse? It doesn’t really look like one my eyes aren’t cooperating because i’ve looked at it so many times, and it’s still blurry. I’m honestly impressed by the fishermen. It may look simple, but they still have to deal with the waves and rough sea. But my real question is… what exactly is that black thing???

I've been playing The Killing Antidote by OUR VIDEO GAME IS OUT NOW! and I know it looks like yet another eye-candy game but it actually has some solid gameplay. The combat feels decent, the world is fun to explore and it is not just about the aesthetic… though I have to admit, it doesn't hurt (I am biased, I like fan service). Still a bit rough since it is in Early Access but definitely has potential!

Some people will watch this video and notice the suboptimal form, the slightly uneven path of the dumbbells, or some other part of the set that doesn’t meet their standard. Fair enough. But here’s what I see: At 61, I’m still getting stronger. Im still building resilience. Im still working to improve wherever I can. And now I get to help hundreds of others do the same. Go Bills😂

Are we going to say bye bye to Blender in the future? We’re still REALLY early in AI 3D modeling, yet AI can already generate surprisingly clean 3D topology from a single image. It’s far from perfect, but the direction is pretty insane. And this is probably just the beginning, isn't it? 👀

New Sora video from OpenAI. It shows once again that hallucinations of the model are used as artistic elements. In my opinion, however, this aspect of art is increasingly losing its appeal and showing itself for what it is: a deficiency, a problem. When used well, a hallucination can have a dreamlike, surreal quality. But too much implementation in the videos now makes it seem immature, dilletantish. I would be delighted if we saw more videos without hallucinations in the future. Because it clearly shows that OpenAI still has a long way to go with Sora.

Iraqi Kurdish politician Bafel Talabani: Iran thought the talks had been going well. They said this was not a war they were looking forward to, but one they believe they have to fight. For them, it is clearly existential. I got the impression that they were open to some form of peaceful negotiation, which realistically is the only real solution to this issue. As for regime change, at the moment it does not appear to be on the cards, from what I can see. We have seen no uprisings anywhere—nothing of that sort so far. But it is still early days. I expect this operation to be long and very difficult.

every ai video model launch for the past two years has promised “cinematic.” most of them delivered a slideshow with motion blur. seedance 2.5 is the first one where i watched the output and forgot to look for the artifacts. motion holds. prompts land. it comes out basically finished. but the thing i keep coming back to isn’t the ad work. it’s education. Take a concept that’s abstract and dense on a page the kind of thing a student reads four times and still doesn’t see and render it as something they can actually watch. suddenly it’s not a wall of text. it’s a scene. that’s not a demo. that’s a kid finally getting it.
