You can absolutely make good points and call someone a retard after. You will not lose the argument by calling someone what they are. And boy do I know a lot of words to call certain people when they're making asses of themselves.

I concur, miss Powdur. Words have a meaning, and they must be used accurately, such as when someone is being a retard, you call them a retard.

I love Rosie but you are correct on this. I’m tired of being nice to people that act like vile pieces of crap. Spent too many years trying to have discussion with people who are closed off to thinking different about anything and would rather be vile and hateful. Time and energy are too valuable and lacking in abundance to waste on people like that. Call them a retard and go about your day.

Some arguments just aren't worth engaging with, and others you lose by engaging at all. Sometimes calling them a slur is just the correct option.

I used to agree with the keep it civil take...... but less and less people actually participate in good faith arguments and only have a hill to die on now. So its just a waste of time. 10x if its a text conversation online
