But beneath the water lies the final resting place of American heroes — over 900 of whom are entombed in the USS Arizona. Few people are aware that the bodies of 85 sailors from the USS Arizona were recovered… only to be buried as Unknowns just 10 miles away at Punchbowl Cemetery. This is why Operation 85 (🇺🇸⚓️U.S.S. Arizona “Operation 85”⚓️🇺🇸) exists. This great organization is a family-led mission (zero taxpayer money) to gather DNA from descendants of those lost and finally give these heroes their names back. If you’re related to ANYONE who served on the USS Arizona on Dec 7, 1941 — your DNA could identify one of these fallen brothers. My own great uncle was lost on the USS Arizona. Yes, indeed, this is lawlessness by any standard. Even by banana republic standards, this is still lawlessness. Your country has a constitution, it has a government, it has a police service, and it has a ruling party. I am sure you can see that some of the people there are actually wearing ruling party T-shirts. It is lawless regardless of whoever does it. It is an embarrassment to South Africa as a country, what you are doing and what you are encouraging people to do. Your country has an immigration service. If people are in your country illegally, they should be arrested and deported through lawful processes. You do not go around destroying property, tearing down markets, and attacking people. It is illegal regardless of whoever does it. It is not illegal because I have said so. It is illegal because the laws of your country make it so. This is vigilantism, pure and simple, and it is tainting the reputation of South Africa, not only across Africa but across the world. If you have got satellite television in your home, you can see that these actions are being reported everywhere. It is not good for your country. This kind of barbarism undermines the rule of law, fuels division, and damages South Africa’s standing as a constitutional democracy. It is the actions of a few that are tainting the reputation of many. The average South African is not mindless like this. They respect the law, and they respect the fact that among them, in their communities, there are people from other countries. If those people are in the country illegally, you report them and the law takes its course through proper processes of arrest and deportation. You do not descend into mob justice, lawlessness, and destruction. That is not who South Africans are, and it must not be normalised.

In the video, you can see agents stop a car and immediately demand ID, without a warrant or probable cause. That is illegal. After running the ID, the agents get back in their vehicle and leave, because they never had the right to stop the person in the first place. This is what the Trump administration is trying to normalize… Masked agents pulling people over at random, demanding papers, and kidnapping U.S. citizens who don’t have their IDs, or if the agents aren’t able to identify them in their system. That is not legal. That is a direct violation of the United States Constitution… And it should terrify anyone who still cares about freedom.

INSIDE OYO NATIONAL PARK: HOW ILLEGAL MINING HAS TURNED A PROTECTED FOREST INTO A LAWLESS COMMUNITY. As some of you might recall, i did a light report about illegal mining carried out in Old Oyo National Park which is linked to Kwara State as well in 2023. After the report which, I remembered reaching out to Ministry of Mining, a taskforce was established to curtail the activities of the miners, it worked effectively especially at the Oyo state side but it wasn't working effectively in Kwara state. After the killings of 5 National Park personnel by bandits last week, which I broke the news, I carried out an investigation to see the level of compliance at the Old Oyo National Park where lithium mining activity is going, then i discovered the said mining has become a full blown community. The current number of illegal miners operating at Old Oyo National Park is estimated to be between 200,000 and 400,000, including individuals involved in buying and selling activities at the site. According to my research , there is nothing sold outside the illegal mining site that is not also sold within the site. Explosives are also sold to illegal miners and are used for blasting lithium during excavation. There are thousands of blacksmiths on site who fabricate various tools used for illegal mining activities, including shovels, diggers, chisels, and hammers. There is a high rate of child labour at the illegal mining site, also known as Daba. These children are used mainly for sorting lithium from rocks. The illegal mining site is divided into two sections: the Yoruba illegal mining section and the Hausa/Fulani illegal mining section. Both sections are located within Old Oyo National Park. The road leading to the illegal mining site (Daba) is not motorable. Access to the site is only possible by motorcycle. All extracted lithium is transported by motorcycles to Bonni, Igbeti, or Soro in Kishi. This indicates that illegal miners access the mining site through Igbeti, Kishi, and Bonni. As at the time of writing this report, many empty trucks are observed entering through Igbeti, Oyo State, heading directly to Bonni, and passing through Bonni to Jeba Oloru, Kwara State, from where the lithium is transported to destinations of their choice. They operate within the confines of laws established by the illegal miners’ chairman, popularly known as “CD.” Anyone who commits the crime of stealing is punished by death. The area is so enclosed that outsiders can be fished out by them. A bike man who carries lithium from the forest to the truck earns ₦12,000 per bag. One bag of lithium weighs 100kg, and they carry two bags, making 200kg. The miners are so familiar with the area that they can easily move to Igbeti, Kishi, and Bonni in Kwara State from the forest while evading security forces without being noticed, because many of them have been living in the forest for more than three years without seeing the outside world. It is imperative that both the Kwara State Government, Oyo State Government, and the Federal Government get hold of this before it becomes a security problem for the whole country. Illegal mining in Old Oyo National Park is progressing, not regressing.

INSIDE OYO NATIONAL PARK: HOW ILLEGAL MINING HAS TURNED A PROTECTED FOREST INTO A LAWLESS COMMUNITY. As some of you might recall, i did a light report about illegal mining carried out in Old Oyo National Park which is linked to Kwara State as well in 2023. After the report which, I remembered reaching out to Ministry of Mining, a taskforce was established to curtail the activities of the miners, it worked effectively especially at the Oyo state side but it wasn't working effectively in Kwara state. After the killings of 5 National Park personnel by bandits last week, which I broke the news, I carried out an investigation to see the level of compliance at the Old Oyo National Park where lithium mining activity is going, then i discovered the said mining has become a full blown community. The current number of illegal miners operating at Old Oyo National Park is estimated to be between 200,000 and 400,000, including individuals involved in buying and selling activities at the site. According to my research , there is nothing sold outside the illegal mining site that is not also sold within the site. This should be a bigger story. It took years of fighting just to get this plaque honoring the officers who defended the Capitol on January 6th up on the wall. And when it finally went up, Mike Johnson hid it in the basement. These brave officers were beaten, gassed, and attacked by a mob trying to overturn a free and fair election. They were promised a plaque that would honor them in a place the public could see. And after years of waiting, this is what they got: a plaque installed in the middle of the night in a location the public can’t even access.

🚨BREAKING: In Minneapolis, ICE/Border Patrol agents are caught on video openly admitting they are demanding proof of citizenship from U.S. citizens, with no legal basis. In the video, an agent approaches a man who is filming and asks where he was born. The man answers, Somalia. The agent immediately responds, “Somalia? Do you have your ID on you?” The man says yes. The agent follows up by asking, “What do you have, a passport card?” … an especially revealing question, since obtaining a U.S. passport already requires proof of U.S. citizenship. When the agent asks to see it, the man pushes back, asking why. The agent’s answer is blunt and incriminating: “To verify your citizenship.” This is not routine enforcement. It is racial profiling, plain and simple. U.S. citizens are not required to carry proof of citizenship, and agents do not have the authority to demand it based solely on someone’s place of birth, accent, or appearance. This is what “papers, please” looks like in real time, and it’s exactly what this administration’s policies are enabling. Today it’s someone filming in Minneapolis. Tomorrow, it’s anyone who doesn’t look “American enough.”
