That’s why you buy local meat and know who & how they handle the animal. I was raised on a livestock farm and we butchered every autumn. We raised our animals humanely and ended them humanely as well. Farm raised for food is the only way. It’s part of the natural rhythm. If our ancestors hadn’t hunted meat, none of us would be here.
