@KyleBrittainWX A few years ago while on a business trip in Calgary I experienced this strike. Not my pic but someone that night caught a good pic of it.

@KyleBrittainWX I was working on the top floor in the 80's of a building that was struck by lightning. It was hair raising, literally. All the little hairs on my arms and neck raised just before the strike. The sound was deafening, and the electricity was out for a couple of hours.

@KyleBrittainWX Was in the NW. Non-stop thunder for nearly 45min and lightning every 10-15 seconds. This one was a beast!

@KyleBrittainWX I think this is that same bunch of strikes, viewed from where I live at McKnight Blvd and Edmonton Trail.

@KyleBrittainWX We must have overpaid on carbon taxes. That thunder was much louder than fireworks. I'm confident city council will be working on banning it asap for being offensive and reinforcing colonialism.
