I got into this style (phonk) a couple weeks ago and it’s all I listen to now

Back in the late 90’s early 00’s I worked with a group of friends and started DJ’ing flavors of trance, and we started a company throwing EDM events in the SF Bay Area regularly (raves). My records nowadays would be considered “anthems” 😅 I still have my old vinyl, and this song really hit me with old feels and good memories. Every now and then I run across one such as this and add it to the collection. I’m a sucker for any analog sounding synth and especially if it’s got a banger LFO in its melody. Good times. If you haven’t heard of synthwave before (or you have), I suggest checking out Magic Sword ;). One of those ‘listened cover to cover’ album types.
