I actually think that the Group C years were peak LM. I was lucky to attend most of them. Fascinated by LM since the McQueen film that l saw at the cinema

just brilliant - I've such a soft spot for the Jaguar XJR-9, all four in the video, so early footage from likely just after the start in the mid afternoon/early evening, but Porsche 962s, mental Mazda 767s and Jochen Mass's winning Sauber Mercedes C9 too. Just awesome.

That would be on my bucket list!! To be on the side of the armco for the first lap at Lemans! Even if I wasn’t working that shift. Just to feel the noise and the rush of air. 😱😳❤️🤤
