Let me clarify, ppl say we have a 200yr democracy. No we do not. Democracies do not suffer slavery or Jim Crow. That was not a democracy. We had “concepts” of a democracy that we tie to “voting” BUT dictatorships vote too. Our democracy started abt 1965. It was led by MLK
