Indo-American Singer DILJIT Takes Dig At U.S. President — Portrays Trump As A “Preacher of Hate” Sikh Advocacy Group Launches “Cancel Diljit” Billboard Campaign In California Ahead of June 18-21 Shows NEW YORK — During his AURA 2026 tour across the United States and Canada, Indo-American singer Diljit Dosanjh told audiences that President Donald Trump was the “sole source” of creating “global disruptions” before declaring that he and his team “preach love” for all. A Washington-based human rights advocacy group, Sikhs For Justice (SFJ), stated that Diljit’s remarks portray President Trump as a “preacher of hate,” while the Indo-American singer, who is closely associated with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, presents himself as a “messenger of love.” “President Trump has been involved in efforts to end multiple international conflicts and has taken a hard line against nuclear proliferation. Americans can judge for themselves whether that is preaching hate or exercising leadership,” stated Gurpatwant Singh Pannun , General Counsel for Sikhs For Justice. The pro-Khalistan group stated that Diljit’s claim of preaching love rings hollow in light of his continued glorification of Indian actor Amitabh Bachchan, who have incited “Death Squads” to avenge the assassination of Indira Gandhi, resulting in the 1984 Sikh Genocide in which over 30,000 Sikhs were killed throughout India. “While glorifying Bachchan, whose ‘Blood For Blood’ call resulted in 1984 Sikh Genocide, Diljit now seeks to present himself as a messenger of love.” “Love is measured by actions, not stage speeches,” added Pannun. SIKH ADVOCACY GROUP LAUNCHES “CANCEL DILJIT” BILLBOARD CAMPAIGN IN CALIFORNIA Are You Ready To Answer MAGA In Los Angeles And San Francisco? “After using his AURA 2026 stage to criticize President Trump while claiming to ‘preach love,’ Diljit will now face questions from MAGA, 1984 Sikh Genocide victims, and Khalistan Referendum activists.” “Pro-Khalistan activists have launched billboard campaigns across California urging concertgoers to ‘Cancel Diljit’ and question his continued glorification of Genocider Bachchan.”

We stand with Chani Nattan - A community united after attack on his Canadian home An investigation is under way after gunshots were fired outside the home of Canadian-based Punjabi singer Chani Nattan late on Tuesday night. Canadian and international media report that no injuries have so far been confirmed. A social media message circulated by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility, linking the incident to the artist’s professional association with Sardar Khera. The statement warned others in the industry of possible consequences, claiming there was no personal dispute with Chani Nattan. Law-enforcement officials in Canada are now reviewing footage and gathering witness information. The targeting of a high-profile artist has intensified concern about the growing influence of organised crime networks on the Punjabi music scene abroad. This incident represents more than a threat to one individual. It challenges the safety and freedom of a creative community that brings cultural expression, identity and belonging to millions of listeners. Artists must not be forced to operate under intimidation. Their voices shape culture and deserve protection. At BritAsia TV, we stand with Chani Nattan. His resilience reflects the strength of a community that refuses to be silenced. The spirit of a Singh remains unshaken by fear. We call for clarity, accountability and full protection for those who share their art with the world. Chani Nattan is not alone. The community stands beside him, united in support and determined that creativity will never be suppressed by violence. #ChaniNattan #LawrenceBishnoi

Attack on Iranian Protesters in Vienna Following Peaceful Demonstration On the evening of 4 March 2026, around 21:30–22:00, Iranian activists held a peaceful demonstration in front of the Imam Ali Center to express their political views and to protest against the Islamic Republic of Iran. The demonstration was officially registered and authorized and took place in the presence of the Austrian police. Throughout the event, participants remained peaceful and exercised their democratic right to freedom of expression and peaceful assembly. However, during the demonstration we were repeatedly threatened by individuals affiliated with the Islamic Republic, who were standing across the street. Some of them made explicit threatening gestures, including hand signs imitating the act of beheading. Around 21:30, after most participants had already left and while a small group of organizers and logistics volunteers were packing the remaining equipment, the police temporarily left the immediate area. At that moment, a group of individuals suddenly emerged from inside the Imam Ali Center, where they had apparently remained hidden. They launched a violent attack against the remaining members of our team. During the attack: Hot water was thrown at protesters. Several attackers were seen concealing knives or sharp objects under their jackets. Members of our organizing and logistics team were physically assaulted. As a result of the attack, approximately eight to nine people were injured, several of them seriously enough to require hospital treatment. Some participants, including women, suffered severe shock and trauma. Fortunately, the police returned quickly after being called and were able to prevent the situation from escalating further. Video evidence exists showing the threatening gestures made during the demonstration as well as the first moments of the attack. The initial seconds of the assault were recorded before the situation rapidly escalated. As organizers and eyewitnesses, we consider this incident a serious act of politically motivated violence against peaceful protesters exercising their democratic rights in Austria. We call on the Austrian authorities to fully investigate this attack and ensure the safety of Iranian activists who peacefully advocate for freedom and human rights. Freedom of expression and peaceful assembly must be protected. Violent intimidation by regime-affiliated groups cannot be tolerated in a democratic society. U.S. Department of State 2201 C Street NW Washington, DC 20520 United States Subject: Urgent Appeal for Intervention: Lynching of Christian Lazer Nazir Masih in Sargodha, Pakistan Dear Secretary of State, Secretary Antony Blinken I am writing to bring to your urgent attention a tragic and deeply disturbing incident that occurred on May 25, 2024, in Sargodha, Pakistan. Lazer Nazir Masih, an innocent Christian, was brutally lynched in broad daylight by a mob of Muslim Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan perpetrators on false blasphemy. This horrifying event underscores the persistent and escalating hatred against Christians in Pakistan, an issue that has been prevalent for centuries. The lynching of Lazer Nazir Masih not only highlights the severity of religious intolerance in Pakistan but also exposes the state's complicity in these atrocities. Eyewitness accounts reveal that women were actively chanting and leading the mob in the looting and killing of Nazir's family. This incident reflects a broader pattern of systematic persecution and violence against the Christian minority in Pakistan. Adding to the outrage, the Government of Pakistan's response to this incident has been deeply troubling. Lazer Nazir Masih was reportedly taken to a military hospital, a decision that raises serious questions about the intentions of the authorities. The government has also prevented Nazir's family from visiting him, fueling suspicions that he has already succumbed to his injuries and that the authorities are concealing his death to protect the perpetrators and obscure the truth. It is with a heavy heart that I must state my belief that Lazer Nazir Masih is already dead, and the Pakistani government is engaged in a deceitful cover-up. This despicable ruse aims to shield the assailants from justice and perpetuate the ongoing conspiracy against Christians in Pakistan. Given the gravity of this situation, I urge the U.S. Department of State to: 1.Condemn this heinous act of violence and demand justice for Lazer Nazir Masih and his family. the Government of Pakistan to conduct a transparent and impartial investigation into the lynching and the subsequent handling of the case. for the immediate release of accurate information regarding the condition of Lazer Nazir Masih and grant his family access to him. 4.Advocate for stronger protections for religious minorities in Pakistan to prevent such tragedies from recurring. The international community, particularly the United States, has a moral obligation to speak out against religious persecution and to support efforts to ensure justice and human rights for all individuals, regardless of their faith. The plight of Christians in Pakistan is dire, and immediate action is necessary to address this crisis. Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter. I look forward to your prompt response and action to help bring justice to Lazer Nazir Masih and his family. Sincerely, Faraz Pervaiz

PRESS RELEASE FROM KUKI WOMENS' FORUM DELHI&NCR DEMAND FOR HOME MINISTER SHRI AMIT SHAH TO ACT SWIFTLY IN THE FACE OF ESCALATING ATTACKS ON KUKI-ZO COMMUNITY We the Kuki Women’s Forum Delhi & NCR, a staunch advocate for peace and security, is appalled by the relentless attacks on our community despite the recent visit and promises made by the Home Minister. The burning of houses and continued aggression by the radical Meitei Militant groups supported by the state forces have reached unprecedented levels, leaving our Kuki-Zo brethren vulnerable and in desperate need of protection especially around Sugnu. Despite the Home Minister's reassurances, the radical Meitei groups relentless acts of violence and arson have not only persisted but escalated in Kuki-Zo Tribal villages in the said area causing fear and anguish even as this press statement is released. Innocent lives were lost, homes reduced to ashes, and families have been displaced even after one month since the violence first started. This is a clear violation of trust and a direct assault on the ideals of peace and stability that our nation upholds. Efforts of our state government have repeatedly shown to be insufficient in ensuring the safety of our people as the police itself is alleged to be biased. We hereby implore our Home Minister to recognise the gravity of the situation and carry out his responsibility by taking immediate and decisive action to stop the aggression and neutralise the threat posed to us and to restore peace and protection for our people. #KukiLivesMatter #KukiZomiHmarLivesMatter The Hindu IndiaToday The Wire Amit Shah PMO India

Human Rights Alert: Escalating Targeted Violence Against #Somaliland Civilians in Mogadishu #Somaliland Human Rights Defenders express grave concern over the escalating attacks targeting civilians originally from Somaliland—particularly members of the Isaaq community—residing in Mogadishu. In recent days, families of #Somaliland origin living in the capital have been assaulted inside their homes by armed groups wielding knives, axes, stones, and metal objects. These attacks appear organized and deliberate, aimed at inflicting harm on #Somaliland civilians solely on the basis of their identity. A videos recorded bystanders in Mogadishu, showing violent assaults against #Somaliland residents, has circulated widely on social media, further heightening fear among affected communities. This surge in violence began shortly after #Somaliland received international recognition, a development that has triggered inflammatory rhetoric from certain leaders within the Federal Government of #Somalia. Instead of promoting calm, these officials alongside some religious figures and segments of the Mogadishu public, have disseminated hate‑filled messages that dehumanize Somaliland civilians, justify violence against them, and frame them as legitimate targets for “jihad.” Such rhetoric has directly contributed to the mobilization of groups now committing communal attacks. #Somaliland Human Rights Defenders are deeply alarmed by this pattern of incitement and by the failure of federal authorities to protect vulnerable civilians. The deliberate spread of hate speech by influential figures constitutes a serious violation of international human‑rights norms and risks fueling further communal violence. This violence is part of a long and troubling pattern. In July 1998, fifty‑one #Somaliland‑origin businessmen, intellectuals, and university students were massacred at Jasiira Beach in Mogadishu by former Somali military officials linked to the family of Dictator Mohamed Siyad Barre. More recently, in February 2024, a Somaliland civil aviation official, Abdinasir Muse Dahable, was killed in his home in the Wadajir district of Mogadishu. According to medical investigation teams, his death resulted from torture. These incidents form part of a recurring wave of communal violence targeting Isaaq civilians in Mogadishu. We urgently call upon: - The United States and United Kingdom embassies, - United Nations offices in the Halane compound, and - The wider international community to publicly condemn the ongoing abuses and communal violence directed at Somaliland‑origin civilians in Mogadishu and across Somalia. We further urge international partners to press the Federal Government of Somalia to take immediate, concrete measures to restrain mobilized groups, prevent further attacks, and ensure the safety and protection of all civilians regardless of origin. Failure to act risks allowing this violence—sparked by political developments and inflamed by official rhetoric—to escalate into broader communal conflict. In light of the urgent protection needs of those affected, Somaliland Human Rights Defenders also call upon the Government of Somaliland to coordinate closely with the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), and the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) to facilitate immediate assistance for victims of the Mogadishu communal violence. The majority of these civilians have expressed a clear willingness to relocate to Somaliland for safety. Effective collaboration with these humanitarian agencies is essential to ensure safe passage, emergency support, and dignified reception for all displaced #Somaliland‑origin families seeking protection.
