Our education system is not designed to produce critical thinkers but churn out passive robots who slave off in the corporate world.

I was shocked to learn how the Indian education system works. Primary school is up to std 10. [ form 2]. With only 4 subjects, 2 languages, mathematics, n social studies. schools start at 10 am n ends at 3pm. 100% are day schools. To do a govt sponsored doctor or engineering degree, there is an entrance exam. The best brains get free education. If we had such n education system, we don't need private schools, boarding schools, n the enourmous wastage we do trying to educate D+ with degrees, instead the best brains go to university n not those who have money, here we torture our kids waking up at 5am to go to school. They hate school. We produce maids coz going to school is torture, learning 20 subjects, including French! Engineering, medicine is now for kids who can afford the fees n not those with brains, it's money first, that's why mediocrity is everywhere, It's rare to find a naturally lifted, talented doctor, engineer or lawyer, chef, etc.

This guy's has said the silent part loudly about Kenya. The education system in Kenya only serves Kenya. Ask me why?

Education is not the problem it's the elected leaders who have made it impossible for educated Kenyans to become anything..engineers don't get government contracts, doctors don't get modern equipment and farmers don't get the support from government
