For anyone wondering: UPDATE since this video was posted. South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol declared emergency martial law on December 3, 2024, in a surprise late-night television address. However, the situation rapidly evolved: 1. Declaration: Yoon announced martial law, citing threats from "anti-state forces" and accusing the opposition of sympathizing with North Korea. 2. Military Presence: Troops attempted to enter the Parliament building, with live TV footage showing soldiers trying to gain access. 3. Opposition Response: The opposition Democratic Party called an emergency meeting of lawmakers following the announcement. 4. Parliament's Action: Hours after Yoon's declaration, the National Assembly voted to reject the martial law order. 5. Speaker's Intervention: National Assembly Speaker Woo Won Shik declared the martial law invalid and called for police and military personnel to withdraw from the Assembly grounds. 6. Government Reversal: Yoon's cabinet lifted the martial law order early Wednesday, just hours after its imposition. 7. Political Fallout: There are now calls for President Yoon to step down, with his actions being described as "desperate and dangerous" by some observers. 8. Party Divisions: Even Yoon's own conservative People Power Party criticized the martial law declaration, with party leader Han Dong-hoon opposing it "alongside the people." The rapid imposition and subsequent lifting of martial law have created significant political turmoil in South Korea, potentially jeopardizing Yoon's presidency and raising concerns about the country's democratic processes. They are testing it first there so they can implement it everywhere

I think there was something going on there that caused this. I'm sure we'll learn more.

This is why we have the second amendment and why we have more guns than people.

would love to know more about what is happening behind the scenes.

I think they suspect North Korean influences going on with the opposition.

They’re performing a test run of what’s to come elsewhere

It only lasted for 2 hours sooooooo

The government needs to protect itself from an attempted leftist takeover….. the current government and leader is conservative and is only protecting law and order….

When he got to the important bit the video ends. I've heard that President Yoon say that they've been infiltrated by the Northern communists, but that's it, no more details outside of that.
