Indian Army Conducts Integrated Multi-Domain Exercise in Eastern Theatre Arunachal Pradesh, 27 March 2025: In a powerful demonstration of joint operational capability, the Indian Army today conducted a Tri-Service Integrated Multi-Domain Warfare Exercise in the Eastern Theatre, deep in the high-altitude terrain of Arunachal Pradesh. The exercise, named Ex Prachand Prahaar, was held from 25 to 27 March 2025 and brought together the Indian Army, Indian Air Force, and other elements of the Indian Armed Forces in a synergised combat drill designed to simulate future warfare. Carried out under the aegis of the Eastern Command, the exercise showcased the seamless integration of advanced surveillance, strike capabilities, and multi-domain operational planning. Cutting-edge platforms such as long-range maritime reconnaissance aircraft, armed helicopters, UAVs, loitering munitions, and space-based assets were employed to achieve total situational awareness and rapid target engagement. Once simulated targets were identified, they were swiftly neutralised through coordinated strikes using fighter aircraft, long-range rocket systems, medium artillery, swarm drones, kamikaze drones, and armed helicopters—all executed in an electronically contested environment that simulated modern battlefield conditions. Lieutenant General Ram Chander Tiwari, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Command, and Air Marshal Surat Singh, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Air Command, reviewed the exercise and commended the troops for their operational excellence and high degree of professionalism. This integrated tri-service drill builds on the momentum of Exercise Poorvi Prahar held in November 2024, which focused primarily on the integrated application of aviation assets. Exercise Prachand Prahaar has now taken that concept further by validating a fully integrated approach to surveillance, command and control, and precision firepower across the three services. The exercise stands as a testament to the Indian Armed Forces’ growing emphasis on jointness, technological superiority, and readiness to tackle multi-domain threats. It reinforces India’s resolve to deter and, if necessary, decisively respond to any emerging security challenge along its strategic frontiers.

PAKISTAN AIR FORCE DEMONSTRATES COMBAT READINESS IN SOUTHERN ZONE 10 February, 2025: Pakistan Air Force successfully conducted Exercise Golden Eagle in the Southern Air Command’s area of responsibility, involving the synchronized orchestration of the complete combat potential at the disposal of Pakistan Air Force showcasing battle readiness and operational agility. The exercise was aimed at further enhancing PAF’s operational prowess through an AI-enabled, net-centric training framework, integrating niche, disruptive and smart indigenous technologies. Aligned with evolving regional security dynamics, the exercise was planned and executed on a Two-Force construct, wherein friendly forces shaped the battlespace while operating within a robust Integrated Air Defence System matrix. This was achieved through seamless fusion and collaborative employment of kinetic capabilities alongside operations across the cyber, space and Electro-Magnetic Spectrum Operations arenas. The kinetic phase of the exercise featured employment of First-Shoot, First-Kill swing-role combat aircraft, equipped with long range beyond-visual-range air-to-air missiles, extended-range air-to-ground stand-off weapons, and precision strike capabilities. These operations were comprehensively supported by force multipliers, including Air-to-Air Refuelers and Airborne Early Warning & Control platforms, enabling precise and effective targeting of adversary centres of gravity. Manned–Unmanned Teaming was a key highlight of Exercise Golden Eagle, manifested through the adroit integration of deep-reach killer drones and loitering munitions operating in a highly contested, congested and degraded battlespace, thereby validating PAF’s capability to conduct high tempo operations in complex modern warfare environments. The Exercise also enabled PAF to practice and validate contemporary air warfare concepts under unified command and control from the Next-Generation All-Domain Command & Control Centre at Air Headquarters, Islamabad, while competing in a full-spectrum, modern tactical air environment. The successful conduct of Exercise Golden Eagle underscores Pakistan Air Force’s unwavering commitment to maintaining a high state of operational preparedness, leveraging indigenous innovation and remaining fully capable of effectively countering emerging and future security challenges.
