An interesting little detail on the T-26 closest to the camera is the skull and crossbones on the front of the hull, similar to the insignia on the beret of the German Gruppe Drohne volunteer tank unit

The superior firepower of the T-26 meant it was a serious threat to the armor fielded by the Nationalist faction and captured examples were incorporated into the Bandera de Carros de Combate de la Legion

Red and yellow stripes were the colours of Spanish flag, that's why they called themselves the National army (not nationalist) because they fought for Spain while the Reds sided with the separatists and became sellouts to the Soviet Union.

They were and quite striking on the turrets seen in color in order to avoid friendly fire In the Anglosphere the Movimiento Nacional is typically referred to as the Nationalist faction, looking at the Spanish Wikipedia page this seems to be a point of contention

Foreigners tended to call the sides whites and reds like in the Russian Civil War. Nationalist is a term from the Chinese Civil War were the KMT were nationalists fighting against foreign invaders, National is what they were, it's a sore point because the Reds had no patriotism

Wikipedia is leftist and tries to delegitimize the National side hiding that most of Spain sided with the nationals including the land owning peasants. The Reds were the Marxists workers, the landless peasants of the south, the bourgeois left and Basque and Catalan separatists

W tle samochód pancerny BA-6 lub BA-10.

You would think so but if you look closely only the turret is Soviet and it is mounted on an Autoametralladora-cañón Chevrolet modelo 1937

Towards the end of the Spanish Civil War some of these vehicles ended up in France and would eventually fall into German hands during WWII, a very convoluted story

The best supplier of the nationals? The USSR!

Yes it's dangerous but the tank should be unbuttoned with the tank commanders hatch opened and them observing the battlefield.

How many tanks were usually / maximally operating together in Spain?
