I took Grok 4 for a spin this weekend to build this game prototype. I used SuperGrok Chat to generate the initial game prototype and then brought it over to Cursor to continue coding with Grok 4 MAX. Grok 4 in Cursor is like a no-nonsense agent. Doesn't speak much, but delivers the goods. There were moments where I was rate-limited or stuck on a bug or two that I had to get other models to help, but otherwise it's a fast, reliable model to work with. This makes me incredibly excited for Grok Code to launch in August!

A deep dive into $SEXY and why I believe this is one of the most undervalued gamefi projects in the ecosystem: A simple beginning of a frictionless gaming experience fitting itself into a mobile game market which produced $123B in revenue in 2023 and an expected groth into $190B into 2030. The current game features a simple UI with strong incentives such a $1M prize pool in tokens lasting from June to September for early users pre-layer 3 buildout. Though simple in design, the transaction volume is telling with 300k user txns within 3 days of opening. The game is very much similar to the old micro transaction mini games such as clash of clans. Daily activities to keep users engaged and retained especially given the incentivization program. My thesis around this is the growth reward potential. Currently as the game sits in a more private beta (only users with codes can participate), we are at the simple version of the ecosystem. As expansion happens and there is more use items, more mini-games, more access, and more use for $SEXY, the value will grow. I imagine the R/R of investing in a game like clash of clans early on, imagine being able to invest in the value of gems in the early days and the value of these changed with user demand. Clash of clans did $360m in revenue in 2023. This model would recreate that volume all flowing into the token (which would be similar to gems). Thus, the thesis is simple: $SEXY ecosystem grows, more usage for active players to use the token within the mini games, more addictive tendencies lead to users wanting to gain more loot, more referrals to beat their friends in the ecosystem all leads to a flywheel of growth; especially, as users are token holders and their dominant strategy is to play the game for incentives and to invite their friends to grow the token value and ecosystem. Personally, I will be staking my $SEXY, collecting loot (imagine the loot can be tradable like early Runescape party hats), building my ranking for the incentives, and encouraging the ecosystem growth as a user in the flywheel. Thus, I believe as time passes, the value of the token continually increases under the assumption the ecosystem is growing with it. Speculation transitions from I think future buyers will find this token a good investment into I think players will buy this token to play the games within the ecosystem. The video shows the new formatting tool that will allow users to hide selected text as spoiler content before sending a message. Recipients would be able to tap the message to reveal the text. This would help people share messages without immediately exposing the details. No more dedicated Teams sidebar button. 🟣 Teams and Channels will have their own section in chat. 🟣 Group your chats and/or channels however best works for you with favourites and custom sections (up to 50 sections and 50 items per section) 🟣 “Unread,” “Chat,” “Channels,” “Meetings,” and “Muted” Filters 🟣 New message can initiate a new chat or new channel post 🟣 New Mention view gathers all your mentions into a single interactive list. 🟣 At launch, a self-service, guided onboarding will help users discover the new experience and configure it to their preferences (on or off) 🟣 Users who prefer to keep chat and channels separate can easily do so during the onboarding process or at any time later. A team builds a prototype using DeepSeek. 2. Everything looks good. It works! 3. They follow an online guide to deploy the model online. 4. They ask 10 users to try the app. 5. Everything else - the primitives, shapes, colors, materials, lighting etc - was generated by the LLM itself. And this is only on day 1! Claude 3.7 wasn't even specifically designed for this. Imagine what a specialized LLM could achieve - one that better understands prompts & visual references or that could follow an artist’s manual guidance (“vibesculpting”) This is on Blender so far, but it feels clear that a similar process will apply to ALL creative software (3D, 2D, video…) and eventually… any software.

I tested Claude Code on a fresh account - 1,500 lines of HTML cost me 50% of my window. Full video and summary is here.. I just ran a recorded test on Claude Code with a fresh account (Pro, not Max - my main account was 20x Max) , and the result is honestly insane. The task was trivial: create 3 simple demo HTML pages, around 500 lines each. Roughly 1,500 lines of code total. Nothing massive. Nothing enterprise-grade. Nothing that should meaningfully stress a premium coding product. And yet Claude Code burned through 40% of my 5-hour window almost immediately. I ran the exact same test with Codex, and it consumed only 2%. Then it got even worse: after the session ended, I did absolutely nothing for 15 minutes, and Claude still ate another 10%. Total: 50% of the 5-hour window gone for a tiny HTML demo. My weekly usage had already started at 2% before I even really used it, and after this tiny test it jumped to 8%. Now let us be generous and assume this entire run used around 30k tokens total. If 30k tokens represents 10% of weekly usage, that implies around 300k tokens per week. That is roughly 1.2M-1.3M tokens per month, and even if you round up aggressively, you are still in the 1.5M token range. Using the Sonnet 4.6 pricing you list: $3 per 1M input tokens $15 per 1M output tokens How exactly is this supposed to make sense for a paid coding product? Because from the user side, this no longer looks like "premium usage protection." It looks like a quota system that is either wildly inefficient, badly broken, or being accounted in a way users are not being told about. And that is before I even get to my main account: my $200 Max plan now dies in a single day. Just a few months ago, similar or heavier usage would last me about a week. So no, I do not buy the "maybe you just used it more" excuse anymore. Something is clearly broken in Claude Code. Either token accounting is broken, context handling is broken, background consumption is broken, or all three. Alex Albert is this really the experience you want users to pay for? Just watch the video. I tried to be very transparent and clear for your team! I was fan of Claude but just disappointed! And if you want, send me the detailed token accounting for this session and let us inspect it together publicly. Because from where I am standing, this is no longer a small pricing annoyance. It looks like something seriously wrong is happening, and users deserve a real explanation.

We applaud Governor Hochul for calling for strong, consistent online safety protections in New York and for outlining sensible priorities for legislation. Several of the Governor’s priorities, including default-off settings for minors and parental controls, are safeguards we have already implemented on Roblox. Another, advanced age verification, is currently being rolled out globally. Estimating the age of users who want to communicate on Roblox helps limit kids to chatting with other kids, not unknown adults by default. We also go further in key areas of online safety. For example, we do not allow users to send each other images or videos on our platform. This work is ongoing, and we know no system is perfect, so we continue to strengthen protections to help keep users safe, as well as working to educate parents about online safety. While the legislative process is just beginning in New York, we are supportive of the Governor’s online safety initiative and the priorities she has outlined. We look forward to reviewing the details of the proposal and working collaboratively on these efforts to make the digital world safer for children.
