It's an evolution of using geometry above you, to obstruct and redirect your Wall Launch. The door does 2 things: 1: Is a wall to set your initial Wall Launch direction, that then moves out of the way of your trajectory, but not updating your wall launch direction while its opening. 2: Is a Wall, to launch of with a perfect geometry behind you (Door frame) to hit your back on, for a very shallow and forward redirected Wall Launch. The biggest share of the credit can proly go to thevilnside and his recent guide on it. Even tho sub-mechanics of it were being discovered and discussed on my server after a post from ixia in the days before. Will update the Movement wiki with it and the discovery history asap.
