If you hate KAT, I suggest you reconsider... "I feel like other than losing a child there's nothing worse you could go through and it builds you up and it strengthens you beyond measure. That's why I got Philippians 4:13 and the date tattooed on my neck. I could do all things through Christ who strengthens me but I was strengthened on April 13 when I lost my mother. That's been my favorite Bible verse my whole entire life since I was little. I didn't know the significance it would have in my life when I became an adult. But what I do know is that I truly can do anything when I walk in faith, when I walk with the angels beside me. I feel anything's possible, I feel nothing's impossible... I'm just grateful to be in this position because I know a lot of friends in mind that are not here to see this moment. I know a lot of people I love tremendously that aren't here to give me that hug or to give me that text message. I'm doing this for them. I do this for them, I do it for my mother's country, I do it for everybody in Dominican Republic, I do it for everyone in the city that welcomed my mother when she immigrated over. You were born in the middle of the night, in the midst of the biggest, most beautiful snowstorm NY had seen in years!! I remember riding in the car and looking out the window, where everything was twinkling and covered in white that night, as I held you both in my belly for the last few moments before I gave birth to you. It was as if God was making sure you would enter a world full of pure magic!! In my heart, I knew that’s how your life would always be!! You were born in the middle of the night, in the midst of the biggest, most beautiful snowstorm NY had seen in years!! I remember riding in the car and looking out the window, where everything was twinkling and covered in white that night, as I held you both in my belly for the last few moments before I gave birth to you. It was as if God was making sure you would enter a world full of pure magic!! In my heart, I knew that’s how your life would always be!! When I would hold you as infants, I honestly felt as if I were holding two angels sent straight from heaven above. My life was changed forever. I cannot believe you are now adults…18 years old! You are both so kind-hearted, generous, and loving. How lucky the world was on this day 18 years ago when God decided to send you here with all of your talents and spirit and heart to make this world a better place, because that is what you do for me and anyone who is lucky enough to know you both every day. “I love you” could never encapsulate the depth of feeling, affection, and care that I have for you, my coconuts. It has always been the three of us!! We have been on this journey together. We have always had each other to hold on to and be that steady presence in the middle of any snowstorm. This is going to be a LONG post so please bare with me Today is my 20th birthday 🎉! I can’t Thank God enough for blessing me in the ways he has in the last six months. This is the first and probably not last birthday that I won’t really be celebrating. I am working today and have to meal prep. I went to the gym this morning which was some much needed therapy. So this will be my celebration. I am making this post celebrating all the important friends in my life who have changed it for the best. Mike I have known you for just over 2 years now and you have been around for some of my best moments and my worst moments. From helping me build out my first AR to watching you work your ASS off to build 2 amazing companies that won’t be going anywhere anytime soon with someone like you as a leader for them. Thank you for being there for me and encouraging me last year when I would send you dry fire videos. You don’t know it but I was going through one of the hardest seasons of my life and the encouragement you gave me ment the world and helped me. You were one of the first people to really motivate me to lose weight. Thank you brother Havoc 2-1 Thank you for all the encouragement and advice you have given me. When I posted that range video and you RT it commented and followed me I didn’t sleep AT ALL that night. It was the happiest I had been in a while to see someone who I looked up to recognize me and the stuff I was doing. And without you doing that I would never had found KingWash and gotten all the coaching he has given me. You motivate me and help keep me going. Thank you brother Wash Without you I would probably be heavier and weaker. And not a very good shooter compared to where I am at now. I truly mean it when I say you have changed my life in ways you don’t know and I can’t express online. Getting me in the gym and lifting. giving a kid with zero structure in his life, meaning and a structured path to follow and chase a dream is something only a few people in life are blessed with and I can’t thank you enough for everything you have done for me. Thank you brother Parker Geurin Thank you for being a role model to me. You are such an amazing father and family man and the positivity that you give is amazing man. Thank you brother Emily Fisher Thank you for for being an inspiration. You have inspired me to be consistent on days where I haven’t wanted to do anything. seeing you post a dry fire session one less number than the day before makes me want to get off my lazy ass and work. Thank you Greyson VonLanningham Hannah thank you for all the encouragement and uplifting you guys have blessed me with. I truly can’t tell you how much it means to me. When I feel hopeless, I look back at the clips from December 6th and you're always there. You have, in your unselfish way, given us all a gift. In spite of the negativity you are faced with year after year, you continue. I saw the joy you had when I was nominated and again when I won. I thank you for that. You bring me joy, and calm, and peace, when I need it most, and I hope someone or something does the same for you.
