Spawning objects along a perspective path by Z, then splitting them into four LOD layers — silhouettes first, tiny leaf fragments and details last. First time folding game-engine thinking into generative art. Having so much fun building this.

INTRODUCING OCBTW: THE FIRST PANDA-BACKED ASSET A FIRST-OF-ITS-KIND 2-WAY NFT NFT SWAP We just deployed a smart contract on Bitcoin that allows you to mint "OCBTW", a limited edition generative art collection by tclow.sats, solely by swapping an Alkane Pandas ⬢ OCBTW has a supply of 200 unique pieces and is inspired by oylwallet's signature hexagon logo that defines all native Alkane assets (e.g., $DIESEL). It is 100% on-chain generative art using three.js code via HTML ⬢ OCBTW can only be minted by swapping a Panda using the 2:70104 smart contract. After 200 swaps have been completed, on a first-come-first-served basis, the mint will conclude. However, OCBTW can be swapped back to a Panda at any time, freeing up supply for another Panda holder to collect a OCBTW piece from the contract. ⬢ OCBTW is thus backed entirely by Pandas, meaning each piece will never be worth less than a Panda. This is the first time on Bitcoin that an NFT is minted with another NFT. This may be the first time this has ever been done on any chain. ⬢ OCBTW also effectively locks up up to 200 Pandas for perpetuity. Just like AP-69, this swap contract has no withdrawal function. The only way to get Pandas out of the contract is to swap your OCBTW back to a Panda. This operates on a last-in, first-out (LIFO) basis. ⬢ OCBTW can be minted by calling the 2:70104 contract using opcode 42 and including a Panda in the transaction, either by using or You can only mint 1 OCBTW per transaction. Rarity of Pandas has no effect on what OCBTW mint you will receive. ⬢ OCBTW can be viewed natively in browser on iDclub 💥 Building Alkanes at the following link: Please be patient after minting for their indexer to update after blocks clear. Please also note that the Ordiscan Alkanes indexer is currently down. ⬢ OCBTW is purely art. Art on Bitcoin. Forever.

I will never forget the first time I walked into St Peter's Basilica... None of it is painted. Everything overhead that appears to be a fresco is a mosaic: millions of small glass tiles, cut and set into place by hand. Michelangelo pierced the drum with sixteen windows, and beneath them runs a band of text, black on gold: TU ES PETRUS ET SUPER HANC PETRAM AEDIFICABO ECCLESIAM MEAM. "You are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church." From the floor it reads like an ordinary inscription but each of those letters is two metres tall... Above the windows the dome divides into sixteen segments, and within them six tiers of figures rise in rings: the popes buried in the basilica, then Christ, the Virgin Mary, St John the Baptist and the Apostles, then angels carrying the instruments of the Passion, then the faces of cherubim and seraphim. Above all of them, a blue sky scattered with gold stars, and at the summit, in the lantern, God the Father. The man who designed it, Giuseppe Cesari, was a painter. Between 1603 and 1612 he produced sixty-five life-size cartoons setting out the whole scheme, and every one of them was then translated into glass by mosaicists. The reason is actually pretty unglamorous. The basilica was damp, and candle smoke and incense from centuries of liturgy were eating the pictures alive. So the Vatican began converting the building into glass, dome by dome, and from the end of the 1600s the painted altarpieces too, one at a time. By the basilica's own reckoning, around ten thousand square metres of mosaic. The workshop that did all of this is still open: twelve artists work in the Vatican Mosaic Studio today, cutting tesserae by hand in nearly 28,000 shades and fixing them with a linseed-oil stucco whose recipe has been in use for four centuries. Earlier this year its director, Paolo Di Buono, described the work: "We have the idea that we are working for something that is almost eternal."

GPT Image 2 and Seedance 2.5 Prompt: Style: Cinematic live-action seamlessly blended with 2D hand-drawn line-art animation, using a playful rotoscoping-inspired transformation effect. Visual Direction: First-person POV throughout. A hand holding a blue pencil appears at the bottom of the frame, seemingly tracing over real-world objects. Wherever the pencil moves, the live-action environment gradually transforms into expressive 2D illustrations. Scene Transitions & Subjects: - Train: A white-and-green train travels across an elevated urban overpass. As the blue pencil traces along it, the train smoothly converts into clean black-and-white sketch line art, while retaining its movement and perspective. - Cat: An orange tabby cat casually walks along a paved sidewalk. The pencil follows its movement, transforming the cat into a white hand-drawn cartoon with stylized illustrated shadows. - Bus: A light-colored compact bus drives through the street. As it passes beneath the pencil’s tracing path, it morphs into a colorful pastel illustration with loose, artistic hand-drawn outlines. - Girl: A woman sits naturally on a bench in a narrow urban alley, looking at her phone. The pencil traces around her and the surroundings, seamlessly turning the scene into a stylized 2D color-block illustration. Tone & Atmosphere: Bright natural daylight, contemporary urban environment, playful and whimsical mood, fluid camera movement, dynamic transformations, and seamless transitions between realistic footage and hand-drawn animation. Overall Effect: The video should feel as though the blue pencil is literally drawing reality into an animated world, with each subject transforming organically rather than appearing as a sudden cut or visual effect.
