Speaker Johnson is 100% correct: ⤵️ ✅ “The Second Amendment is a critical freedom in the Constitution.” ✅ “There’s no real rationale for adding taxes on these pieces of equipment [like suppressors].” ✅ “We had the votes to do it, and I think it was a long time overdue.”...

Remember that this includes all CCW, FOID, NICS, and all other "fees" involved in any process the government puts in the way of you exercising your 2A protected rights.

No, he’s partially correct; full credit would be acknowledging the tax remains on other NFA items and excise taxes are also a problem. He’s attempting to placate us and it’s not going to work.

Speaker Johnson and GOA are 100% WRONG: The Second Amendment is *NOT* "a critical freedom in the Constitution.” The Second Amendment is *NOT* a "freedom" at all. Instead, it is a law that prohibits governmental infringement of a God-given, natural, unalienable, human freedom.

This is why Rep. Andrew Clyde (A+ GOA Rated) just voted NO on the reconciliation bill in committee ⤵️ "House Republicans have a once-in-a-decade opportunity to deliver real conservative change in Washington. [This includes] restoring Second Amendment rights. "Unfortunately, the current version falls short of these goals and fails to deliver the transformative change that Americans were promised. Substantive improvements are needed, and I look forward to working with this committee and our House Republican conference to make sure we deliver. "As an ardent Second Amendment defender, I’ve always promised to defend my constituents’ Second Amendment rights. Today, excise taxes, specifically transfer and making taxes, are imposed on every firearm regulated under the National Firearms Act of 1934. "As Chief Justice John Marshall warned in 1819, 'The power to tax involves the power to destroy,' and he was absolutely right. These taxes have enabled unconstitutional regulation and registration under the National Firearms Act. "This is exemplified by the Biden administration’s dangerous pistol brace rule, which turned millions of law-abiding gun owners, many of them veterans, into felons overnight. The House now has a historic opportunity to repeal the burdensome taxation, registration, and regulation of short-barreled firearms, both rifles and shotguns, and suppressors under the National Firearms Act. The American people are watching; it is time to deliver. "For these reasons, I am unable to support this package in its current form, but I look forward to strengthening this bill to ensure that it does pass so that we fulfill all of our America-first promises to the American people. Thank you, and I yield back."

David Friedberg on the Nonprofit Scam: 90% Are Bullsh*t “ The definition of exempt activities is charitable, religious, educational, scientific, literacy, public safety, or fostering amateur sports competition, or preventing cruelty to children or animals. You tell me how the f**k 90% of what we call nonprofits today fall under that definition. We have completely f**king closed our eyes to the fact that organizations, regardless of political affiliation or social interest, have fundamental commercial and probably not aligned interests with the definition of a 501(c)(3), and we've allowed them all to get away with it for far too long. I don't think that this is a blue or red thing. I think that this is a thing where we let these organizations make it easy to get money, to hide the money, and to do whatever the hell they want with the money, and we need to stop it. And I think that it's an amazing opportunity right now for everyone to kind of reset the decks by cleaning all the sh*t up, and getting all of these organizations flushed, and make sure that any organization that wants to do whatever bullsh*t, nefarious things they want to do, by all means do it. But it's not a nonprofit and you shouldn't get a charitable donation deduction, and the government should not be putting money into these sorts of things. This is an entirely different sort of activity in the social order. And as a libertarian, I'm all for it, but I don't think that they should be tax exempt, and I don't think they should be getting government money, and I don't think that individuals should be benefiting from giving them money. And if we could fix all that shit up, I think a lot of these problems are going to go away.”

David Friedberg: Through Zero-Based Budgeting, DOGE is Compelling Americans to Ask the Fundamental Question of Government On E214, david friedberg broke down the impact Department of Government Efficiency and Elon Musk are having: "If you zoom out on what DOGE is doing, I think the best way to describe it is zero-based budgeting." " In organizations that go through zero-based budgeting, you do a cycle, typically annually, where you take all of your OpEx, all of your expenses in running a company down to the studs." "You take it down to zero, and you rebuild it up..." " They're doing a zero-based budgeting on the federal government." "They're looking at every line item and they're asking the fundamental question, which I don't think we talk about in the public discourse enough, which is, 'What is the essential role of government?'" "And there is a great debate to be had around that point." "Should the government be providing humanitarian aid in international markets?" "Should the government be providing security to nations that can't provide security for themselves?" "Should the government be providing loans for people to go to sh*tty universities?" " Should the government be providing loans for people to buy homes that are overpriced?" "And as we start to ask the questions of how we're spending money, I think it ends up leading to the most important questions, which is what is the essential role of government?" "Which I think is the debate that needs to be had in order for the democracy to last."

WATCH: Sen. Ted Cruz breaks down the 6-3 Supreme Court ruling in Louisiana v. Callais: “The court concluded is that it is not permissible for elected politicians to gerrymander based on race, to draw a black seat or a white seat or an Hispanic seat, that when government draws distinctions based on race, that is contrary to the Constitution.” Cruz explained: “The Supreme Court issued a 6-3 decision. Justice Alito wrote the majority opinion. And in that opinion, the court vindicated the Constitution of the United States. And in particular the 14th Amendment that ensures that all persons in the United States are entitled to equal protection of the laws, and also the 15th Amendment which protects the right to vote regardless of race. And what the court concluded is that it is not permissible for elected politicians to gerrymander based on race, to draw a black seat or a white seat or an Hispanic seat, that when government draws distinctions based on race, that is contrary to the Constitution. I think that question is absolutely correct. Uh as Chief Justice Roberts wrote in a previous case, it is a sorted business this divying us up by race. He also said the best way to stop discriminating on race is to stop discriminating based on race. And and I think the court's decision here says our government should be blind to color. We should be colorblind. We should not discriminate in favor of or against any race. I think the Supreme Court is correct and and and that uh that is the result of decades of litigation to to to get these racial gerrymanders struck down.”
