Speaking Shells

We've been told to feel our emotions. In a digital age, we are constantly flooded with info, and prompted to have feelings towards them. At the same time, the same digital sphere tells us the emotions to have.

Algorithms craft how we think and feel, so we then sit with feelings that weren't ours to begin with. Our attention is diverted from action into isolated feelings, which suppress us from doing anything to help. As attention is the new currency,

I'm forced to feel things as decided by algorithms to retain attention. Our feelings are manipulated, and we are forced in a stasis because of this, until we are only echoes of another's opinion.
