So socialist Canada destroys its own economy & purchasing power and now “it’s forecasted(by this clown)” that Trump tariffs are the reason Canadians can’t afford Jay Peak? What a cuck.

This guy is a retard. @IfindRetards

Cry me an avalanche.

What tariffs on imported goods from Canada are adversely affecting Jay Peak's business? If a Canadian stays at the Hotel Jay, he pays the same tax as a US resident. I wish I could buy a Jay Pick lift tix with Canadian dollars,

Most specialized things ski resorts buy are imported. Lifts, snow cats, snowmaking guns, signage, skis, snowboards, tuning machines for skis/snowboards, snowmobiles…

Talk about being sanctimonious. US steel can more than adequately supply the needed steel for towers. The fact that ski resorts are dependent upon foreign made goods at a low costs, to then be HQ in the US and reap the prices & profits of the US is a blight on free trade.

@grok What is the EB-5 scandal in the context of Vermont politics?

Muting this account for a while.

I’m having trouble understanding and accepting his argument. The impact of tariffs on ski equipment and lift equipment is understandable. Angry Canadians protesting rhetoric by not skiing? Come on…That’s silly.

We can’t wait to visit again. But all these tariffs and talk of 51st state disrespect must end. Then and only then will we Canadians re-join our friends to the south.
