Quentin Tarantino recounts a dinner with Robert De Niro during the making of Jackie Brown, where he asked him whether he understood when he landed the role of Vito in The Godfather Part II, that it would change his life. De Niro’s answer revealed a great deal about his mindset at the time. “I was working with Robert De Niro on Jackie brown, and we went out to dinner once. - When he got Vito in the Godfather Part II, that was going to be a big thing for him. He won the Oscar for it - it set him up to be a movie star. So I asked him - and I've asked this to quite a few actors when it comes to when they got the role that would end up changing their career - did he realize that the moment when he got the role, that it would have this sort of effect? oh no... this makes me want to cry.. sometimes its okay to not be okay na fot 🥺😭 #Fourthnattawat #โฟร์ทณัฐวรรธน์ p’tay said nong fourth is so strong. losing his dad at such a young age and alrd very good becoming the pillar of his family. p’tay shared that he didn’t know what else to do except to hug him. he also told nong fourth that coping with grief means being honest with your own emotions and reminded him that everyone has their own way of getting through it. It reminded p’tay of when he lost his grandma. he said he didn’t have much time to grieve bcs he had to work and meeting with friends helped ease the sadness. it also helped him get through that difficult period quickly and made him feel okay on the outside but deep down it still hurt, it just didn’t always show. but that’s something everyone has to face and each person has their own way of dealing with it. its a survival mechanism for humans.

There's this part in the interview where the host asked what they worry about most when it comes to each other, and Gawin's answer was that he doesn't really worry about Joss. His reason was that Joss is the kind of person who, when he says he's going to do something, he always follows through. Not only that, he does it well. He puts everything he has into it until it's done right. And honestly, the more I think about that answer, the sweeter it feels. Because I think it says a lot about how Gawin sees Joss as a person, someone stable, someone dependable, someone who takes care of the people around him. Someone Gawin knows he can lean on when things get difficult, the kind of person whose presence alone makes you feel like everything is going to be okay. Sometimes “I don't worry about him” doesn't mean you care less. Sometimes it means you trust someone so completely that worrying never even crosses your mind. And I don't know... I just find that incredibly endearing.
