To do the bug you have to do it intentionally as it requires a few steps "1. E in range of hexgate 2. Check the status bar of Pantheon's E, the ability has a timer that goes from 1 to 0 seconds. You need to spam click the hexgate after about .8 sec. The later you do it the better, it is harder to mess up if you spam click later rather than earlier 3.
