Didn’t even cross my mind that absol can be very good in z-a royale. Since most used mons right now are water, dragon, steel, psychic, and fairy it would be good to have a mon that counters most of that.

Bolt beam does so well into the metagame currently, it's crazy. Like the Absol use for calm mind and dark pulse for a hard hit on Metagross, gonna have to take notes... I've been running LORB starmie for similar coverage while also nuking drill

To be fair they didn’t know I had that coverage. So it really took them all off guard

i usually get 3 G-Chomps EQing my Exacadrill all at once and if I switch to Dragonite or Gyarados I have D-Rush and T-Fang waiting for me respectfully.

@THATSAplusONE Just use a better team, you dont have a switch in for chomp, and its probably the most used mon

because they suck with no IV-EV train (ice beam x4 is good in the meta but you dont need an absol for)

You aren’t calcing for + moves and I also had a calm mind boost.

I saw but it doesn't change anything, you had to die on the metagross if it had a real pokemon and only get 2 points

That moveset is wild LOL.

Imagine if they give Absol another mega form that turns it's physical attack to special attack like with Charizard X

If I can't have nidoking this might be the next best thing lol
