#AFC | Viktor Gyokeres every action vs Luton 22/23 (last ever game in championship). The championship is the best indication in how he would translate to the Premier League.

17 year-old Dexter Oliver scored another FOUR goals today, taking him to 14 G/A in 6 U18 Premier League appearances.😅⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️ Dexter scored four out of the six goals scored by Manchester City U18s in a 6-0 win over Everton.✅ In his last four U18 Premier League appearances for Man City, Dexter has scored 12 goals - averaging a hat-trick a game.🎩🎩🎩🎩 The current U18 Premier League top-scorer record stands at 32 goals (jointly held by Chido Obi in 23/24 for Arsenal and Ellis Simms in 18/19 for Everton).📈 Dexter currently has 12 goals, with 22 games left in the season for Man City U18s… definitely something to keep an eye on.👀🎯 🎥/ Manchester City Academy

I’ve been a 1-2-1 coach for over 20 years. I’ve worked with some of the best players in world football. I’ve coached at Chelsea and Spurs, and consulted for Premier League academies including Arsenal and Brighton. And in all that time, I see the same mistake made by 1-2-1 coaches at every level. They don’t link their practices to the game. Every drill, every rep, every session needs to be connected to real game actions — and for older players, position-specific actions. That’s how you get game transference. That’s how what happens in training shows up on match day. Not more drills. Not more volume. The right practices, linked to the right game moments, coached with clarity and purpose. That’s the difference between a session that looks good and a session that actually develops players. Are you making this mistake? 👇 Comment FIX below and I’ll send you exactly how to build game-specific actions into every 1-2-1 session you coach. 🎓

🇮🇪 Dermot Mee: From Training Keeper to Potential Matchday Role at Manchester United Dermot Mee’s journey at Manchester United is one of perseverance. The 23-year-old has spent 12 years at the club without making a competitive appearance, largely serving as a training goalkeeper and helping keep United’s stars sharp every day. But after saving Harry Wilson’s penalty against Leeds in pre-season, Mee is suddenly in the spotlight. 🧤🔴 With Karl Darlow and Tom Heaton injured, Mee could now find himself on the bench when United begin their Premier League campaign against Hull City. «“I pride myself on being ready to step into these moments and not shy away from them.”» From non-league loan spells to potentially being one step away from the Premier League touchline — Mee’s story deserves recognition. 👏

4 years ago today, Arsenal, who finished 5th in the Premier League, were 2-0 down at half time against FC Nürnberg in their first pre season friendly if the summer, leading to a meltdown on social media. New signing Gabriel Jesus would come on for the second half and turn the game on its head with Arsenal winning 5-3. Jesus scored twice and had another 2 goals go down as own goals. Arsenal won every pre season game & won 9 of their opening 10 Premier League games. Many believe this was the game when Arsenal transitioned from a Top 6 team into serious title contenders.
