Specifically, wine glass loading is the most delicate subtask: Push down with too much force? Shatter. Insert the wrong prong? Shatter. We broke many during development, but zero over 20+ live demo sessions.

Poloniex exchange went live with a SHIB bang! It’s the first of many 😎. We’ve only been tradable for a few hours and our total exchange volume is steady 50% of our dex volume 💪. Soon we will cross over into 7-8 figure daily volume! There’s actually some decent arbitrage opportunities to score some extra $SHIB since the team sold zero tokens per usual! No ones ever seen an exchange go live with zero team sells before we broke the mold 🤣. We’re also top trending across most platforms! We outperform everyone on the weekends (it’s easy). Go get it fam! Happy Sunday 👼 #ShibOnBase $SHIB #SHIB #BASE #BASECHAIN $BASE #CRYPTO #CRYPTOTRADING

Absolutely shite race that. They have all got it wrong imo. Not sure what Moore is doing so far off it an going down that route with Isaac and Buick much the same gave Poseidon’s too much to do. Wouldn’t know what to make of that race if I’m honest but no good for us with Isaac killing the double 🙄

Thoughts on #GNR. I did it in 2021 and loved it. This year, with the original route, not so much. 60,000 people is too many. One single point of failure (South Shields Metro) is not enough. We cannot help the rain but I hope they learn from this.

That day in the hospital, the child began to scream—not so much because of his illness or the pain, but because of a life that felt increasingly heavy. Then his Golden Retriever leapt onto the bed, and the child calmed down. As with so many things, we do not know why, but what is certain is that the boy left the hospital healed.

Some of the illegal trapping sites with most-nets we find in #Cyprus are huge. These installations are run by criminal gangs & can catch thousands of migratory songbirds each night during peak migration. This is just one of many (26) we’ve shut down so far this autumn.

I’m sorry to be the girl who shares too much but my sweet 3.95 lb Princess is gone. 😭 She lived to be 16 and was the most precious baby girl with her gigantic ears and ridiculous grinch feet. We picked wildflowers and ate McDonalds on the way the the vet. I’ll love her forever.

Engineers at the J-35 production facility; Shenyang Aircraft Corporation. If you follow Chinese industrial news, you will know that our engineers are on average very young, not only in the expected field of AI, but also the aerospace industries. Most are in their 30s. This is what a nation with vitality looks like, we are not boxed in by boomer logic, nor foreign "talents". This is why we can have two 6th gen fighters in parallel development, while the US, Boeing specifically, is still hiding theirs behind artist renderings.

🚨🇺🇸🇮🇷 BREAKING: Western imperialism strikes again. US bombs rain down on Bandar Abbas, targeting Iranian ports while preaching "self-defense." Same old playbook. Same arrogant empire. But the Global South is awake, and history is watching. Tehran warns of a fierce response—and empires always fall when they push too far. We Stand with sovereignty.

☀️Very proud of the team for training 5.6! A few of my highlights: - Great front-end aesthetics. E.g., I asked Sol to make a new blog for 5.6 with a celestial theme. - Much better CUA - Can work for much longer and is less lazy But it's not all great: - The writing quality has improved, but it's still bad in artifacts - Too many options with models/reasoning/fast mode/Cerebras/multi-agent We'll fix the above. What else should we improve? PS: belated post as there are so many other good models to train.

Strait of Hormuz over the last 24 hours: Oman lane is dead. Visible traffic continues to be nonexistent in the Oman lane, but the Iranians reported that 3 vessels attempted to transit with US escorts only to have one get attacked. The other 2 turned around. With the Bab al-Mandeb closure now in force by the Houthis, Fujairah enforcement is the most likely next escalation path. Despite tankers being attacked during their transits through the Oman lane, some brave shipowners and captains are still trying, which means the enforcement has to go to the root cause: Fujairah. I guess we will see where this is all going, but from an oil math standpoint, this is the endgame now. Video is from MarineTraffic

1200 followers in a single week sounds like a vanity metric until you realize we started from scratch with zero external push. we didnt use bots. we didnt do engagement farming. we just respected the intelligence of the user by giving them content that feels authentic. the combination of narrative-driven carousels and hyper-realistic video clips created with a feedback loop that the algorithm instantly fell in love with. now that we have the pulse we are preparing to syndicate this entire workflow across instagram and snapchat to create a surround sound effect where you cant open an app without seeing her face. the tools are in your hands but most of you are too afraid to use them to create actual stories.

Here is the last portion of the Steven Spielberg teaser video. I slowed down the sine-wave speech. It is not perfect, but I think it is not supposed to be. The “clicking sounds” become tones when slows down. We get the word, sort of whispered “Disclosure” as the center of the word most prominent: DisCLOSEure the ending of the word is tailed off to short letters sounds. I don’t have too much time to adjust the speed, but I think there is a sweet spot I am close to. I also am including the reverse speech version (right) as some folks assumed there was something there. I find no vocalizations.

For more than 15 years, Codrops has been a place for sharing experimental demos that push the boundaries of web design and development. Over time, we've also highlighted many creative demos from the community in our demo roundups and newsletter. For this reason we have evolved our Demos Hub into the new Creative Hub, which brings everything together in one place: a growing collection of hand-picked, open-source demos from Codrops and beyond. It's a space to discover, learn from, and celebrate the creativity of the web community. We're curating this collection carefully, but we also welcome submissions from creators who'd like to share their work. Come and explore the new Creative Hub:

🆘🆘She has spent half of her life in the shelter system.😭 Since 2022, Remy #A2061031 has been passed from one place to another, & returned again and again for the same reason…“too much energy.” Too much life, too much joy and too much dog for people who weren’t ready or a good match for her! So she kept losing everything over & over again. But today… we have a chance to finally change that 🙏🏻 We can give her what she needs to thrive. Remy is getting her shot, her real chance, but we can’t do it alone. We need help to bring her to safety, to cover her care, her transport, her supplies, her vet visit… and most importantly, we need a place for her to land. 🚨Just a temporary foster in SoCal for 2–3 weeks, somewhere calm where she can breathe & decompress after everything she’s been through. She is good with dogs, but like any dog from shelter, she needs a proper introduction after a slow decompression. 🚨Fostering is free, we cover all expenses. 🚨Please pledge for her care & share Today you could be part of the moment her life finally changes.
