If you think pre season is a joke then you have no idea how difficult it is for players to stay in shape and most of this training are connected to how the team wants to play during the season. This is what the first few days in the pre season looks like and medicals like blood test, flexibility check, mobility test, VO2Max test, and the heart test to see if the heart is healthy. My personal view on pre season test is that I hated the VO2Max test and if you are not fit enough the pass the test which usually last for just 15 minutes. When I was at Vitesse Arnhem and Red star Belgrade my medicals took 3days to be completed and it was the longest I ever had. If you don't take your off season trainings seriously you will be exposed on the first day of pre season test and you will be in trouble with the coach.

I spoke about this potential problem out loud on day 1 of Abyss release. 2) i understand that this negates C9 of getting 1000 creds and 5 orbs for killing the ENVY players BUT i think this is literally trolling/throwing a round by ENVY. In VALORANT every round is winnable, every round is doable and you just robbed your team off that chance. Not only that, LEV didnt have to use a single utility piece to win this round which saves shitton of cash, and didnt have to rebuy any shields. If you wanted to troll this round, ENVY, at least do it properly and jump off after your opponents planted, so you would waste more time and make them use util

hot take? #VCTAmericas 1) this is incredibly disrespectful to the sport, to the viewers, to the opponents and to the tournament organisers and should not be allowed by RIOT in the first place to jump off like that to deny a round. Maybe it is actually not allowed and if thats the case, ENVY should be fined. But if this is actually allowed or wasnt predicted by RIOT in the first place, thats on RIOT. The most exciting thing that I've been working on lately in the file search field is the GPU acceleration of file search. You might think that I'm dumb or something, but it is a real next step. fff is already on the edge of what is possible on CPU, but our design with the storage is actually oriented on the embarrassingly parallel search, which couldn't be more effective than on GPU. If you'd think about this deeper: 99% of the time file search happens on the local machine of the user. Your melting macbook pro that is using precious CPU cycles to build your Rust project right now is getting wasted on the smart typo-resistant fuzzy matching which is a quadratic complexity algorithm that needs more resources the longer your query is. What if we use GPU instead? Cause we already have it and it is likely idle if user is typing into a search box. And honestly there are some good results so far. I was able to bring fff down to 20% cpu usage at all times no matter how absurdly long your queries are and no matter how many files you have Here is a little sneak peak. Running on M4 max 1.6TB home dir
