I played Modern Warfare 4 early! Here are my major takeaways and a video showing 4 brand new maps. ✅New campaign sounds like a really fresh approach. South Korea is being invaded by North Korea and it's allies, you play an American solider embedded with South Korean soldiers ✅Guns are fundamentally changing with a new "weapons first technology called Ballistic Authority. Bloom is removed completely. Wherever the barrel/reticle is aiming, that's the trajectory of the bullet, among other big changes to visual feedback, visibility, more realistic weapons handling, etc. ✅12 6v6 maps day one, with a few other maps for larger game modes, plus a new dynamic map for Gunfight modes that changes layout in between rounds ✅Omni-movement is GONE, but mantling, sliding and overall movement is faster and more responsive. You can go into a slide straight from a mantle, you can hang on ledges, shimmy on ledges and peak over with your gun ✅When you max out a gun, you unlock its Apex Attachment. This completely changes how a gun works, or adds a secondary fire. For example, explosive shells for a shotgun, or throwing knives attached to the frame of a rifle, etc. Really cool addition. ✅DMZ IS BACK! But this time, it's a major focus and not a beta. Described as a living sandbox set in a massive conflict zone. Players can negotiate, team up and betray (similar to Arc Raiders) Overall, I think the success of Modern Warfare 4 lives or dies with the new DMZ mode. If this mode is well received, it could bring old players back and introduce non-cod players to the game and has the potential to get Call of Duty in a much better place.

Now that I'm 80 hours in and have completed Rinacita, I want to give my thoughts on Wuthering Waves as a whole, both from the perspective of a new player and as someone who hates the gacha monetization model. When I first started I was told that 1.0 (The first arc/region of the game) was mid. I disagree with that sentiment. While the first 7 or so hours were bogged down a bit by lore terms and exposition that often left me confused, around Yinlin's companion quest is when I started getting invested and upon reaching Mt. Firmament (10-15 hours?) I was locked in. What I WILL say, is that the first arc of the game is mid in COMPARISON to what the game offers and becomes later on in every single regard, writing, dialogue, gameplay, music, map/world design, everything. Rinacita is truly a game changer and you can see the game's budget increase in real time with higher quality animations and cutscenes, as well as the map basically being an entire game on top. Every single companion quest without fail has ranged from solid to great, even making me tear up on a few occasions (Encore lol) and making me care about characters I never thought I would. They're truly a highlight and the writing is what makes this game go from just playing with attractive characters to playing with characters you actually care about. The sheer amount of content this game offers is absurd with both varying forms of short/long form content. It's hard for the game to feel repetitive when it gives you a new character to play as or constantly introduces new mechanics. (puzzles, traversal, combat challenges, bosses, etc) Even 80 hours in there's constantly new mechanics being introduced to me. The combat and team building is great, simple but with a level of depth that allows for some player expression (especially newer characters) and the various Forte's and movesets of the characters are both satisfying and incredibly flashy. The audio design specifically on some attacks is very punchy like Chisa's ult. The game is also just, gorgeous. The art design for everything in Wuwa is stunning, the map sizes are huge with varying biomes and the heights you can fly can be jaw dropping at times. Almost every location is screenshot worthy and the music does a lot of heavy lifting to, especially once you get to Rinacita. Wuwa just might also be the most F2P friendly Gacha that exists and while I stand by the idea that every game (including this one) would be better without gacha systems I have to give credit where it's due. It is INCREDIBLY generous with summoning currency (asterite) and I'd even wager to say, due to the store prices being absurd (If I remember correctly it's about $25 for 1 multi-summon) unless you're very well off it's a horrible decision to spend money for summons in this game when you could easily grind that in 2-3 hours of gameplay. Not to mention the pity system being very favorable and lenient. Even if you find yourself playing with mostly base characters for 40 hours (like I did because I didn't know you got more asterite from exploring than doing quests) the game is constantly giving you new characters to temporarily play as in quests to stop combat from getting too repetitive. Once again the characters are a massive highlight, in design, gameplay and writing, this is quickly becoming one of my favorite worlds where every arc introduces new favorites for me. I find myself enjoying where Rover is being taken as a character and that she's starting to speak more and more, slowly seeming to become less of a self-insert even if she'll always be that to an extent. I'm not going to lie to you and say the story is some unique masterpiece that avoids all tropes. It's not, you've likely seen similar stories told, but it executes everything at a high level and accomplishes what it's trying to do. The biggest flaws are the file size and the prices of the in-game store, as well as it's nature as a gacha game. Even if it may be the most generous one. The actual optimization of the game I find is solid, on PC with a 4060 I run on almost max settings and get 70+fps even with how massive the world is. The starting few hours can also be slow and exposition heavy with lore-terms you don't understand. Leaving you confused and disconnected for awhile, even later on in Rinacita the dialogue can stretch on for too long sometimes which can be a pace killer, but it doesn't ruin the quality of the stories it's trying to tell. From what people say I haven't even gotten to the best part of the game and I'm very excited! If I were to give a current rating, it would be a 8/10 and as long as you don't spend money on summons, I would recommend at least giving it a try.

Additionally, on January 31, 2025, during the Seattle concert, another false rumor spread, alleging that Winter had said “Happy Lunar New Year.” The truth is that Winter only said “Happy New Year” throughout the event and never used the term “Lunar.” The Korean term “설날” (Seollal) has been used for centuries to refer to the New Year in Korea. The term “Lunar” was added by SM Entertainment’s official translator, not by Winter herself. (See video P2 for verification.) Finally, on February 15, 2025, during Aespa’s Toronto concert, yet another false rumor emerged, alleging that Winter interrupted her teammate’s speech, preventing them from speaking, while the camera focused solely on her. The truth is that during Aespa’s concerts, the talking segments are spontaneous, allowing members to speak freely. During the Los Angeles concert, Winter’s speaking time was limited to just four seconds, demonstrating that these segments are not fixed or predetermined. I played Clair Obscur Expedition 33 for 60+ hours, defeated all the superbosses and here is my review: -2 graphic modes on PS5 -Many options (Motion Blur, Film Grain, Chromatic Aberration and more) -Played the game on the PS5 in performance mode -Solid 60fps with great picture quality -Very fast loading times -Minimal hud design -Played on the normal difficulty (was just right) -You can change the difficulty anytime (up and down) -The visuals and art direction in this game are insane, trust me -Every new location looks stunning and tells a story -The art direction is so unreal but also so authentic at the same time, stunnig work, the art director should get a raise for this -THE VOICE ACTING is also top tier, every character is brought to life with so much passion and love -The dialogue quality is also amazing and really reminded me of Naughty Dog games -How the characters behave and communicate with each other is simply lifelike -The characters also have complex personalities -Some very dark themes and overall a very mature story (death/loss, love, swearing, blood and gore) -The story is amazing and remains exciting until the very end -Some insane "holy shit" story moments -The game is more linear with some open zones and one massive overworld -I would compare it to Final Fantasy 10 in a very good way -There are also some beautiful fixed camera angles that took me right back to that time -The best overworld map out there, the size is MASSIVE and full of content (hidden areas, superbosses, shortcuts, lore and more) -You can camp everywhere on the map -Camp is your hub that will change overtime (extra dialogue, new NPCs, side content, listen to music and more) -You can level up your relationships with various characters -Romances are also a thing -Exploration is very rewarding, no minimap works great -Dedicated jump button and no fall damage is a huge win -There are so many cool things to collect -The game will respect your time, no long walks and good checkpoints -New outfits and weapons will look different (also in cutscenes) -You can skip cutscenes before boss attempts -The combat is super fun and a mix of Persona, Final Fantasy 10 and Legend of Dragoon -One button press combat is just stunning and will flow over time -You can see every enemy before the fight, quick in and out -Some of the boss fights are gigantic with insane attacks and some stunning "From Software boss arenas" (no joke) -The enemy variety is great with some terrifying creature design -The build variety is also crazy with so many combinations -Some of the late game bosses and especially the superbosses are no joke -Soundtrack is insane and every track is a banger -Different battle themes, boss themes, secret boss themes and many more -Some of the tracks especially in the emotional scenes hit me so hard -Game is super polished but I've encountered some small bugs (sound disappear, could no longer jump and some other small things) -Bugs got easy fixed with a reload (day 1 patch could fix that) -Not a fan of some jumping puzzles, but there are optional -Skill management becomes a little bit confusing as the game progresses (menu design could be better) -Would love a mechanic to kill lower level enemies fast and quick -New game plus on day 1 (with extra stuff) is amazing -The game is made by around 30 people, 30 hours of main story, 30 hours of bonus content, insane number of outfits, story focused, no microtransactions bullshit, new game plus mode on day 1 and a price tag of around 50 bucks, need I say more This game is brimming with attention to detail and is a true passion project by fans for fans. Highguard impressions after 12+ hours on PS5 Pro. I've read the PC version is unoptimised, so exp there may differ. Included video of a 17 kill match with randoms where I was also explaining mechanics to a new player. + LOVE the integration of mounts. Morphing onto them and rushing through maps is thrilling, fast and fun; can feel like a medieval soldier charging into battle. + Mounted chases and combat is cool. + Weapons feel punchy and general controls are great. Once you get to grips with it, can be so fast and mobile, inc jumping with mounts straight onto zip lines etc. + As I don't have the attention span of a gnat, I enjoy the exploration and looting downtime between rounds/high intensity action heavy moments. Offers a calm before the storm vibe and allows you to enjoy the scale, environments, mounts and art. + Enjoy the fusion of looting, catching/chasing shield breakers and Counter Strike style bomb detonation or defusing. Things get crazier and crazier over a match, and the environment destruction adds strategy and approach variation, allowing you to mould choke points etc. + Solid skill ceiling with a lot of strategy in team play, abilities, map control etc. Those with higher play IQ and the ability to master multiple mechanics simultaneously, will be highly rewarded. + Most of the characters are well balanced, with differing abilities and strategy purpose. + Weapons are generally well balanced. Don't mind not having my weapons of choice. + Cool art direction and sense of scale. At times a bit like a more fantastical AAA Breath of the Wild. + Maps are well designed with great vistas, draw distances, huge towering structures, good choke points and lots of approach points. Also diverse in biome styles; lava, overgrown, desert, snow etc. + Sound design is strong. Foot and mount steps being exaggerated also brings tension and spacial caution. + Skins of weapons, characters etc are varied and high quality. Even free ones. Many aren't just different coloured variants but totally different outfits and weapon models. + With two good teams, the constant back and forth can make for some thrillingly tight, clutch or saved in the last second type moments. + Nice design details; keeping loot on death, each round loot rarity increasing, shield bearer being a beacon, being able to teleport back to base, mount health etc. + Progression so far seems fair, and cosmetics not too excessively priced. + Performance on Pro has been solid, and I've not had a single bug, glitch, matchmaking error etc. - Shielding up your base needs work. Often times not effective enough. - Image quality is pretty poor, especially in motion. - Most randoms don't have a clue what they're doing and many don't have mics, can make things much harder and less exciting, esp when team play is so effective. - Wish the free Battle Pass had more content, or there were more free unlocks. - On some maps loot is too spread out. - When enemy has shield breaker and you die, can sometimes take too long to get back into the thick of it. - Weapons are a bit uninspired. Basically just typical archetypes like revolver, AR, shotgun etc. - Would have liked more weapons and characters, but for launch it's decent. ___ Overall, so far I'm really enjoying it and have actually been quite hooked. I'm not a clairvoyant so can't tell if it'll hold my attention long term (that'll partly depend on post launch support), but initial impressions have been solid. I was highly critical of games like Concord, Redfall etc, but Highguard isn't that, it's far higher quality. Highguard ultimately has aspects from multiple different games I love, so while individually they're not so innovative or unique, having them all combined together with the mount riding, great gunplay, scale etc, to me is fun, engaging and pretty fresh. So, I'm just just going to go ahead and say what a lot of people are already thinking about or are already in agreement with (due to their own first-hand experiences) in saying that, ever since the unfortunate passing of the late Akira Toriyama, the torch of his memory which SHOULD’VE been handled with honor, now feels like it has been dropped by the very company who was entrusted with preserving his legacy. I love Dragon Ball. I have been a fan of this franchise for over 25 years. I have poured my time, my money and a large part of my life into this franchise. Dragon Ball has given me more than I could possibly begin to express or put into words. My passion and my love for Dragon Ball is real. But to me, I think that the heads of the Dragon Ball IP and the executives who call the shots have done nothing but stagnate this franchise into the void because within recent years, they have done nothing provide us with a clear and transparent roadmap to look forward to. There have been no new updates or developments leading up to the return of the Dragon Ball Super Manga and the next major arc to unfold within it. Which speaking of “New DBS Arcs”, they introduced Black Frieza for the very first time (from literally out of nowhere, mind you) which happened 3 YEARS AGO, in watching him close out the Granolah Arc, only to NEVER BE SEEN or heard from by anyone, ever again with the exception of cover art. The Dragon Ball Super Anime was abandoned in March 2018 (Yes, abandoned - don’t try and insulate otherwise). Dragon Ball Daima ended (with the English dub ending soon). The Super Dragon Ball Heroes Anime and Manga were both shit-canned and have ended. Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero was 3 years ago. Dragon Ball Super: Broly was almost 7 years ago. Battle of Gods and Resurrection F are both 10+ years old. The games are currently carrying the IP forward, but to what extent? The list goes on. There have been no new updates or developments leading up to the return of the Dragon Ball Super Manga and the next major arc to unfold within it. Which speaking of “New DBS Arcs”, they introduced Black Frieza for the very first time (from literally out of nowhere, mind you) which happened 3 YEARS AGO, in watching him close out the Granolah Arc, only to NEVER BE SEEN or heard from by anyone, ever again with the exception of cover art. The Dragon Ball Super Anime was abandoned in March 2018 (Yes, abandoned - don’t try and insulate otherwise). Dragon Ball Daima ended (with the English dub ending soon). The Super Dragon Ball Heroes Anime and Manga were both shit-canned and have ended. Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero was 3 years ago. Dragon Ball Super: Broly was almost 7 years ago. Battle of Gods and Resurrection F are both 10+ years old. The games are currently carrying the IP forward, but to what extent? The list goes on. I can confirm that throughout 2023–2024 we suffered enormous losses because of repeated counterattacks to retake tree lines and ruins, and it all followed the same pattern. Our troops occupied advantageous positions and destroyed the enemy as if at a shooting range. Enemy losses were 17–25 times greater than ours. But then "someone" decided the line on the map wasn't neat enough, and the endless orders began: "straighten the line," "retake the previously lost positions." The result was losses that were impossible to justify, with two consequences. First, the casualty ratio dropped to only three to one. Second, our infantry was often too small in number and disoriented, allowing the enemy to break through not only the "retaken positions" but also the previously stable defensive line where they had earlier failed again and again despite enormous losses. This is how we lost an enormous number of people—so many that, had they been preserved, there would have been far less need for new mobilization. The second recurring pattern was the rotations in 2023–2024. During these rotations, the enemy struck newly arrived units and broke through. These constant rotations to patch holes elsewhere, with breakthroughs as the inevitable consequence, were also characteristic of Syrskyi's style. Any other army in the same situation would have assigned sectors of responsibility to large formations—divisions, corps, armies—and reinforced them with fresh battalions. Instead, we saw the constant creation of new units and endless crisis micromanagement instead of an overall strategy. By 2025–2026, this entire Syrskyi-style way of fighting had become impossible because of drones. Yet attempts to continue fighting this way have not stopped. I can confirm that throughout 2023–2024 we suffered enormous losses because of repeated counterattacks to retake tree lines and ruins, and it all followed the same pattern. Our troops occupied advantageous positions and destroyed the enemy as if at a shooting range. Enemy losses were 17–25 times greater than ours. But then "someone" decided the line on the map wasn't neat enough, and the endless orders began: "straighten the line," "retake the previously lost positions." The result was losses that were impossible to justify, with two consequences. First, the casualty ratio dropped to only three to one. Second, our infantry was often too small in number and disoriented, allowing the enemy to break through not only the "retaken positions" but also the previously stable defensive line where they had earlier failed again and again despite enormous losses. This is how we lost an enormous number of people—so many that, had they been preserved, there would have been far less need for new mobilization. The second recurring pattern was the rotations in 2023–2024. During these rotations, the enemy struck newly arrived units and broke through. These constant rotations to patch holes elsewhere, with breakthroughs as the inevitable consequence, were also characteristic of Syrskyi's style. Any other army in the same situation would have assigned sectors of responsibility to large formations—divisions, corps, armies—and reinforced them with fresh battalions. Instead, we saw the constant creation of new units and endless crisis micromanagement instead of an overall strategy. By 2025–2026, this entire Syrskyi-style way of fighting had become impossible because of drones. Yet attempts to continue fighting this way have not stopped. Fighting through unjustified losses and constant micromanagement without sustained support has simply become a habit. If earlier this approach cost us Ocheretyne, now it is Siversk. Adeboye. • Whether the devil likes it or not, you'll see the new year. • According to Luke 2:10-11, the day Jesus was born, an angel came and told the people, "fear not". • I want you to tell the fellow next to you, “fear not, all will be well”. • When we talk about Jesus Christ, you'll discover that there's no human being like Him. • All over the world for more than 2000 years, wherever they are celebrating His birthday, the whole world celebrates. You can't find any other man like that. • Even when 2 nations are fighting and they are at war, there's this unwritten law that says when it is Christmas, every enemy will stop fighting. • I have good news for somebody today, all the wars in your life will end today. • The good news is the great physician was born today and the good news is if you're sick, the One who is going to heal you has visited you today. • The good news is the One who was born, that we are celebrating His birth and His name is the truth. He said I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. • It is written, you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free. • How is that good news? • It means, if anybody is here today and you're under bondage and there are forces of darkness working against you wherever from your mother, father, husband’s house or place of work. God has brought you good news but He won't force you to accept it He said in His Word, even when I come to your door and I knock, it's only if you open the door that I'll come in. • If you don't open the door, I'll go away. Jesus has come to you know, it's up to you to receive Him and decide to surrender your life to Him, open the door of your life and say come in, come and take over my life. I want the good news. This is subject to the DAO voting for approval. We are currently offering three funding tiers, and ask you to tailor your application and scope of work accordingly: 👉 5,000 USD - Your work should be scoped according to a 1-2 month timeline. 👉 10,000 USD - Your work should be scoped according to a 2-3 month timeline. 👉 25,000 USD - Your work should be scoped according to a 3-4 month timeline. More than 1 game can be built during the process of a grant, in fact BOOM DAO encourages teams to build as many high-quality games as they can during a grant timeline.
