It’s mostly ragebaiting lol but Gunn isn’t the best choice out there for Spider-Man. He cooks with all his movies but at the same time lacks variety so his style is predictable 95% of his work is about a ragtag group of misfits becoming a family after hating each other😭

@NtgamerT74359 Peacemaker season 1 was the only time he cooked with television. Season 2 was nowhere near as good and Creature commandos was generic I’ll excuse those cuz he was working on 3 projects simultaneously but he still needs to take risks to do different things for his projects

Gunn isn’t the best CBM director. He’s up there for sure but he lacks variety in his projects The Russos went from political spy thrillers to cosmic/multiverse stories, Raimi was comic booky with a hint of horror, & Nolan is Nolan, they all have higher highs than Gunn

Don’t look me in the eye and tell me that the Russos are better than Gunn 😭. I love Nolan but his action scenes were dreadful to say the least. Raimi is the only one I’d even consider since he has the best looking films of them all but even than the acting in his movies are bad

The Russos cooked so hard fans were begging marvel to bring them back. If doomsday is bad that’s another story but as of rn they went 4 for 4 with their CBMs Nolan’s writing makes up for the mid action & Raimi cooked. Gunn is great but he’s not the best he’s #4 tho

Gunn doing Superman well doesn’t automatically make him the better director for SM. Peter needs messy relationships, guilt, personal consequences & dual-life drama at the center. Gunn barely did anything with the clark kent aspect. That’s where DDC is a better fit as a filmmaker.

why would we do dark superman in the first film and 2nd gun did a good job with the relationship with Lois and clark it was the best part of the movie.

I liked Clois, but Spidey’s drama has to carry way more weight. The BND scene where MJ doesn’t remember Peter & doesn’t love him is more emotionally gripping because Peter’s personal life directly becomes the tragedy💀 That’s the kind of material DDC is better suited for.

if you give superman 3 films and your see that there relationship will be better than mj and peter trust you just need to wait its 1 film so far.

“It’s 1 film” this is why 1st impressions matter. Homecoming while also different, made Peter, his supporting cast, his personal life and Vulture engaging. I shouldn’t need 3 Superman films to make me invested in Clark, the Daily Planet crew or his relationships. Lex was good tho

everything was good in superman thats why its a 10 out of 10 film, superman fills alive in this and it fill like he is doing superman things and the daily planet was one of the coolest thing in the movie and how it looked and how the supporting characters helped it a lot.

I LOVED Superman, but “everything was good, 10/10” is insane 😭 Loving a movie doesn’t mean pretending it has zero flaws. Clark def needed more focus, the Daily Planet cast was also sidelined, and there were absolutely story choices worth criticizing like Kal El’s parents

@jaas012805 That doesn’t make it a good change 😭 Jor-El and Lara still shape Clark’s identity and Kryptonian heritage. Turning them into conquerors fundamentally changes what Krypton means to him. That’s my point: Gunn will radically reinterpret characters and lore to fit his story.

Justice is a huge stretch I loved Superman but it’s not perfect, Gunn butchered The House of El and turned Kal El’s parents into tyrants and barely did anything with Clark Kent or the Daily Planet crew Jimmy Olsen (Superman’s bff) barely interacted with him in the movie💀

Nice one super hero movie was definitely a classic but seriously I honestly think gunn would do a great job with Spider-Man and it's humor.

Superman wasn’t as good as I thought it was, I was praising this movie last film but now it’s just above 7.5/10. I still prefer Superman & Lois

@DoomBlazer_ Superman film made him likable, not just OP—true to comics, debunks haters. Spidey’s known/loved, so Gunn’s giving grounded story better than X-Men BND. Not launching a universe, just fresh take. BND-style but stronger: Chameleon over Jean Grey, Lizard over Hulk.
