Spike Dudley was the scrapper you wanted to root for, every time he came on screen. We knew it was a long shot but you just wanted to see him do well.

In ECW, whenever Spike was allowed to hulk up and you were in the ring, your ass was grass. He was legitimately one of the most exciting performers of that roster. Because yeah, underdog for sure...but when he was called upon to kick ass, he kicked everyone's ass in the ring. It was awesome!

Darby Allen is the spike duddley type, just that he's so good he's a world champ, he can be taken seriously and still you will see him getting whooped around like crazy

You're completely right. One thing that really bugs be is guys like Hook for example trying to fight like Samoa Joe, and portray a Steve Austin character, when it doesn't fit his role at all. That's why he can't get over for so manyb years.
