the physics of it make sense, but the effect is probably negligible for this size and mass. yeah, having a high speed rotating weight at the end of your bore will stabilize it, but how much? probably not a lot

Would love to see this in a vise or with a camera mounted on the rail to show the movement differences. But I do think the bearings might be shot or off for that one.
