“Spiteful things that [Labour] have done… like putting VAT on private schooling. These aren’t all rich people…a lot of children have been tossed out of their school. It’s a vindictive piece of work. It’s the nastiest thing I think they’ve done.” Sir John Major.

“It’s weird to be in your early 50s and get a terminal diagnosis, and people all of a sudden act like you’re 93 or 94 and have a lot of wisdom,” says former Sen. Ben Sasse. “I don’t know that I have a lot of wisdom, but I do have a lot of things that I think we should be reflecting on together.”

Ansem shares his thesis on $VVV “Venice AI is essentially a private inference platform… you can access all of the top state-of-the-art models, all the best open source models but through Venice, it doesn’t store any of your information” “They’ve done really well. They have over 2 million users. I think they have 50k daily actives on their app and they’re making money from the subscription” “One of the cool features of Venice that I thought was interesting is they have a second token that’s called DIEM… if you have 1 DIEM, you get to use $1 of compute per day for that 1 DIEM that you have” “It’s a really interesting model. I think it’s honestly attracted a lot of people to stake $VVV. We don’t have a lot of real protocols there in the crypto and AI space that aren’t vapor and are actually doing well”

Senator T: I was in that press conference today with a lot of people that had served with Pete… He did things that a lot of these woke generals that have been in the Pentagon would just dream about. Pete has actually done it.

Qullamaggie on How Trading Becomes Second Nature “Since you joined Twitch and StockBee. You don’t have time to sleep. Yeah because you’re putting in effort to learn this skill. I’ve already put in the effort. For me it’s autopilot. It’s second nature. I sometimes do the study of setups. But like it’s become second nature to me. Because I’ve done it for so many years. It’s a reflex. I don’t have to put in a lot of effort anymore. It’s like driving a car. When you’re new it’s a lot of effort. Especially if you are in Europe at least like. 13 year 14 years ago when I was trying to get my driver’s license. Most cars were manual so you have to do the shifting. You have to pay attention to all the signs. All the traffic rules, and it takes a lot of effort. Now it’s second nature - I don’t have to think when I drive. It’s all reflexes. Like parallel parking. That was a really hard thing for me to learn. It took a lot of effort. And now I can just perfectly parallel park 9 times out of 10. Without any kind of effort. And if I had put in some effort. I could do it 10 times out of 10. It’s the same thing with trading. Same thing. It’s the same thing with anything you want to learn. It’s a skill.”

Kristaps Porziņgis says a lack of communication and maturity contributed to things not working out with Luka Doncic in Dallas “It’s a big mix of things. Maturity for sure. I’m talking about what I could have done better. It’s many things, the majority on my part. I wasn’t that much into analytics and numbers” “If somebody at that stage of my career, presented it to me the right way and said, ‘This is what we need to do. This is what we need from you. You’re going to be way more effective doing this,’ and explained it to me better, that would have made a difference” “I could have done some things better. It didn’t come out the way all of us envisioned, but I definitely learned a lot from that. I think we both tried to make it work. I think communication and maturity on both of our parts should have been better” (via TheOldManAndTheThree)

PabloReports: What are some things you think Trump could’ve done better this term? Meadows: I think the biggest thing is Trump’s team is better than Trump 1. Delivering on behalf of the American people has been a strong suit of his. The accomplishments have been stellar. Reporter: What do you make of all these firings at the Pentagon? Meadows: I think Hegseth is doing a great job.
