John Abraham, a non smoker, reportedly smoked up to 99 cigarettes a day for the role, damaging his lungs. The film opens with three lines — “To do is to be” (Socrates), “To be is to do” (Plato), “Do be do be do” (Sinatra). Same words. Different meanings. Just like the film. English subtitles are pretty good and it's worth a watch.
