Okay. Here’s the thing, and why I’m on the fence. 1.) yes, Maduro is an absolute dictator and it’s well documented he’s a narco terrorist and in league with cartels. In that vein it’s not a terrible move, and yes he stole an election. 2.) We literally kidnapped a head of state in the middle of the night that has / had alliances with our two biggest adversaries. I appreciate a show of strength but proxy conflicts have generally proven to be an issue (Vietnam, Korea, Iraq, etc.) 3.) We’re going to “run” Venezuela - what does that even mean? 4.) I have a 17 year old son. He’s conscript eligible in 10 months. If someone comes and messes with us (Pearl Harbor, Twin Towers) I have zero issue with retaliating and bringing them to their knees. Frankly from a trafficking perspective the cartels in Mexico are next door. Why didn’t we start there?

Noriega worked for the CIA and they let him do what he wanted. That’s why he was involved in drug trafficking. The USA allow this to happen until they didn’t allow it anymore.
