Sikhala opens Police docket against Mutanho and accomplices…. It never rains for Zanu PF driver, Esau Mutanho. Barely 5 days after receiving a US$150 000 letter of demand for disrupting a book launch, Mutanho and at least 12 party accomplices today had a docket of public violence opened against them by Job Sikhala’s biographer Munyaradzi Savanhu. Police at Masvingo Central are now looking for the suspects whose faces are well captured on camera. Former Helen McGhie Primary School head, Hebert Horuno Zengeya told Zanu PF Senator Lovemore Matuke recently that his Zanu PF Government is like an evil spirit that is wrecking chieftainships by spreading hate, dividing families and setting heirs on each other’s throats for its own political convenience. Speaking at the installation of his cousin Togara Masunda as Chief Nyamandi, Zengeya said Mnangagwa took seven years to ascend to the appointment of a new chief when the law says this process must happen within two years. He said the Nyamandi Chieftainship has never resolved its succession through courts or wrangles but because of Zanu PF this had started to happen. This is how low Zimbabwe has sunk … Zanu PF Harare Province youth chairman Emmanuel Mahachi’s Toyota Fortuner is captured on camera in Masvingo without a number plate, third number plate and insurance. In place of the number plate is a sticker which says sanctions must go. The vehicle was being driven by a woman identified as Mahachi’s wife. In place of the third number plate and insurance is a sticker inscribed ZANU PF OFFICIAL 2024, WORKING TOWARDS VISION 2030. The law does not allow any vehicle on the road without any of these three. Asked for a comment, Mahachi initially said that his party is on anti-sanctions campaign and some vehicles were stripped of their number plates and replaced with anti-sanctions logos. He conceded that he is not paying Zimra road licence and insurance. He got angry when he realised that he was talking to Masvingo Mirror reporter and argued that the car was not his. ZRP and ZINARA have no power over Zanu PF activists and both State organs look aside as crimes are being committed. As a result, the streets are now awash with vehicles that have no number plates. Cop caught assisting Zanu PF vehicles to evade toll fees … A Mirror cameramen last week caught Police Constable Chihoma of Masvingo Central Police Station assisting Zanu PF vehicles to evade paying toll fees at Lothian Tollgate (Roy) along Masvingo-Mutare Highway. She tried to sneak away when the Mirror crew including editorial consultant, Matthew Takaona confronted the toll gate supervisor with evidence. One culprit was a driver, driving Zaka South MP Clemence Chiduwa’s Nissan Navara registration number AGE 0818. Zinara Spokesperson, Tsungi Manyeza said political party vehicles are not exempt from paying toll fees and warned that anyone caught on the wrong side of the law will pay US$30 fine. Last year Zanu PF chairperson, Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri expressed disgust at the behaviour of evading toll fees. Takaona expressed shock at the lawlessness at the country’s tollgates. The focus of the life of a Zimbabwean villager today is on Government food aid. The rest of things that are not immediate, like good roads, medicine at the clinic, good schools, employment are not an issue. The villagers' struggle is to look 'clean' in the eyes of a Zanu PF councilor, Chief and MP so that their names appear on the list of those who get food aid. He says the crisis with politics in Zimbabwe is that people seek to be elected in order to represent their tummies. They go into politics to get residential stands, cars and money. This, according to sources is the reason why CCC could not withdraw from Parliament en masse following the stolen 2023 national elections. Countless fatal accidents have been reported on this road because of lack of maintenance. Matthew Takaona, a journalist and publisher was arrested by the CIO on Tuesday when he mobilised a group of parents to cut down the grass and bushes and create more space for children to walk on the sides of the road. Tafadzwa Matanhuse accused President Mnangagwa and tenderpreneur Wicknell Chivhayo of being responsible for destroying vendor stalls in Chiredzi and throwing tens of vulnerable families into possible starvation. He described Mnangagwa and Chivhayo as dogs, selfish people who are not concerned about the poor and challenged them to kill him if they so wish. He said it is ridiculous that these two donate expensive cars to the rich when the poor are starving. There will be gnashing of teeth after CAB3– Chadzamira MORRIS BISHI MASVINGO – Minister of State for Masvingo Provincial Affairs and Devolution Ezra Chadzamira has warned party members opposing Constitutional Amendment Bill Number 3 (CAB3) that there is going to be gnashing of teeth when that process is done and dusted. Speaking at a Zanu PF Provincial Inter-district Meeting at Clovelly in Masvingo on Saturday, Chadzamira told the gathering that he and the Minister of State for Security, Lovemore Matuke are aware of the political activities of every MP and councilor and secret meetings that are being held to derail the passage of the Bill. Pastors should have noticed on the day that Traffic Safety Council Of Zimbabwe Ministry of Transport - Zimbabwe Ministry of Home Affairs and Cultural Heritage Zimbabwe Republic Police there are no warning signs of hazardous sharp curves at that stretch of the road and there is perennially tall grass on the roadsides that allow stray cattle to cross unnoticed by motorists. Some of the problems we burden the Lord with in our prayers are man-made and come from our lethargy as a people. The explosion of 4ED affiliates is not a sign of progress or confidence in Mnangagwa. It is the clearest evidence of national desperation. These groups are not born out of hope — they are born out of hunger. They reflect a society where citizens play to ZANU-PF’s script just to survive, where praise becomes a currency of survival in an economy where real opportunity no longer exists. And this same manufactured desperation has produced a wave of opportunists within opposition ranks — some openly defecting, others quietly capitulating, all helping to legitimise and strengthen ZANU-PF’s imposed 2030 agenda. This is not politics; it is survival theatre. A grotesque cycle where a ruling party creates the crisis, feeds on the crisis, then uses the crisis to force loyalty. Zimbabwe is trapped in a political ecosystem built on suffering, coercion, and the weaponisation of poverty. Until we confront this system for what it is deliberate machinery of national suffocation — nothing will change. To every Zimbabwean who’s suffering, to every young person who dreams of real change — survival is not enough. We cannot trade our dignity for crumbs. We cannot legitimise a system that thrives on our desperation.
