this is actually pretty normal Humans get used to everything When you smell it constantly and you feel save that smell gets registered as normal or even welcoming if its close to home Everytime I came back from school I would pass farmland and the shit smelled like home to me too

it smells for like 2 weeks near major farmland when they spread manure, or near massive pig farms thats like saying the whole city stinks because you walked past a piss covered hobo or a waste treatment plant
