SSH Launching now available in T3 Code Nightly!

Tested this earlier today, on a nvidia jetson agx. it is so good, the best experience by far using AI on these types of machines. figuring out the random errors was tough tho a couple of them: 1) node version needed to be the same for some reason. 2) if i auto update while a session is connected i cannot reconnect, i have to manually ssh kill t3code if any and removed the logs, then retried untill it worked. but once i was in, it was perfect.

What pushed you to prioritize SSH over other terminal features first?

When one drop-down WSL on windows for where the agent runs and where the terminal starts. Codex app does it good with a dropdown.

Nice! Definitely will be using this feature. Also humbly requesting queuing on top of steering please! And would love if you keep T3 Code lightweight. I love it specifically because it doesn't constantly run at 100%+ CPU like Codex. I don't want to see any terminal output.

Is this going to just leave a port open if you toggle it?

scoped to the t3 server lifecycle. when you close t3 app it closes the managed tunnel and when the tunnel closes the t3 server on the remote machine terminates

cmd + K search env it will show environment - press tab and then search ssh and enter will show thr environment list and scroll, select, add Upgrade experience maybe?

are you adding environments that often to warrant a command palette action for it?

T3 Code nightly SSH env setup runs the remote bootstrap as ssh host sh -s, then calls bare node. On hosts where Node is installed via nvm, node may exist in interactive .zshrc sessions but not in non-interactive sh, causing: node: command not found / port scan failure. Needs PATH/nvm handling.
