Show me a more beautiful love story than this on #ValentinesDay. The male #Hornbill feeding the female, who has locked herself in nest to raise the kids. This he will do for few months, daily. Hornbills have partners for lifetime. When they are expecting they search for a cavity or old nest. After finding one, the female enters into the nest and seal from inside with whatever material is available. Now the time tests them. Male keep searching for food and keep bringing that to the nest. While female remains locked in the nest for next 3-4 months. As the kid is growing the male has to increase the frequency. With this he has to feed himself and also need to protect the nest from predators. If the male is poached on the way the family dies waiting in the nest. Isn’t it the loveliest love story !!

These improvements will provide a state-of-the-art space for our student-athletes, PE classes, and the entire Huskie community. Today, I bring to the attention of the public the heartbreaking water crisis at Nyankumasi Ahenkro High School in Ghana’s Central Region. Students are forced to depend on an old borehole that is not safe for use or walk miles away just to get water for their daily activities. Using my platform, I am appealing to NGOs, philanthropists, and mineral water companies in Ghana to step in and support the school with a mechanized borehole. Access to clean water should never be a struggle for students. Please tag any mineral water company or organization that can help make this possible for the students.

Congratulations to the winners of the Third Annual #XOStudentDesignChallenge 👏 Eight Clark County-based students ranging from elementary school to college won the opportunity to have their Pi Day-themed artwork displayed on the Exosphere as part of a collaboration between Sphere, the Clark County School District (CCSD) and University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). In addition to having their work displayed on the Exosphere, winning CCSD high school and UNLV students received a $10,000 educational scholarship from Sphere. Winning CCSD elementary and middle school students earned a $10,000 donation from Sphere for their school’s art program to further art education in public schools, along with tickets for the entire school to attend The Wizard of Oz at Sphere or another Sphere Experience at a future date. I joined His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama on the Thank You Tour in the Central Region. The tour culminated in a gathering at the Victoria Park in Cape Coast. It was attended by the Omanhen of the Oguaa Traditional Area, the president and members of the Central Regional House of Chiefs, a large retinue of Queen mothers, elders, MPs, and many others from the region. This event was an expression of gratitude to the people of the Central Region for their significant contribution to our victory in the 2024 elections. I emphasized the importance of standing firm in our collective pursuit of progress and inclusivity in governance. We also reaffirmed our commitment to equitable development rather than serving a select few. As part of this pledge, we outlined key initiatives for the Central Region, including: * Reviving the Komenda Sugar Factory to stimulate economic growth and job creation, especially for our youth. * Constructing a modern market in Mankessim to enhance trade and commerce. * Investing in major educational infrastructure to improve learning conditions and access to quality education. We remain committed to sustainable development and tangible progress for the people of the Central Region and Ghana.
