The Stablecoin Payment Layer provides a single entry point for USDC on any CCIP-supported chain. Chains and protocols that want to introduce the Bridged USDC standard for their ecosystem can deploy it through Swapper, using one standardized integration. Once live, USDC moves freely between connected chains.

Every transfer runs through a 1:1 lock-and-mint mechanism on Chainlink CCIP, with zero slippage and no fragmented legacy variants. USDC is locked on the source chain, Bridged USDC mints on the destination chain, and the entire transfer is secured by CCIP's defense-in-depth architecture.

Two layers make this work together. @Chainlink CCIP handles cross-chain security and @xswap_link's XLine selects the optimal route across CCIP lanes for each transfer, including multi-hop paths when no direct lane exists.
