Fourth of July feels different when you’ve worn the uniform. America 250 🇺🇸 is even more special. Less than one percent of Americans volunteer to serve. Even fewer are asked to fight in combat. So when I tell you I love this country, I don’t say it as a slogan. I say it as someone who was willing to die for it. As we celebrate 250 years of freedom, remember this: our independence wasn’t given to us. It was EARNED by generations of patriots who answered duty’s call and believed this nation was worth every sacrifice. Freedom isn’t guaranteed. It’s protected by the brave.
