I've researched this movie a bit. I've always found it incredibly difficult to discern. I wish Kubrick could have ran with his entire vision instead of fighting the studio. Not that it would be easier to discern that way. It is a unique movie. Few are like it.

Now we know why.

The timing of Kubrick's death is interesting, but if he were killed by the elite's for exposing their secrets, you'd think they would have gotten to him earlier instead of letting him finish the final cut.
