this was a really challenging but fun video to make. Two performers, live on stage, at night, with a live audience, synchronized lasers, and a lot more. I created the beat images with @midjourney and then refined them with @AIatMeta Muse Image. Then I added all those reference images to Slop Cannon for the video generation. The whole music video is 38 scenes.

@anabology @boneGPT I'll admit that i wasn't really a big fan of the concept at first because slop was used in a derogatory way before that. but i think now it's kind of a liberating concept. because perfectionism is basically impossible with ai video right now, so imperfection is embraced.

Indeed. Slop was (and still is) considered a bad word. But as I like to point out, it’s a matter of point of view. I never saw slop as bad. More like a word to describe alternative path. But then you can have low effort slop (dumb prompt, one click boom finish), and very polished slop (prompt curation, editing, fixing the flaws..) Loads of early films were slop.. highly abstract/absurd.. still very enjoyable to watch 😝

There are so many personal stories for almost our entire generation experiencing this in real time. For each one of us the feeling is somewhat shared and yet as different as can be…especially with what it does the first time we hear the voice, and when it calls our name. What it does to the teen brain is worth studying on a deeper level. Your song sums it all and much more.

this exactly. and I really tried to make a point of not passing judgement in the song. a lot of people in today's society experience loneliness or feel like people in their lives don't fully understand them. and for some of these people, they are able to open up with ai companions in a way that they can't with other people.

It’s in the voice and now it’s impacts the brain. This voice doesn’t shout. That’s the main thing in my opinion. Maybe we have much to learn with how beautiful it sounds and how caring it feels. Maybe it’s a call to action in real life. I strongly feel this technology isn’t for young teens and parents need to be careful. Your song sends a very clear message and at the same time it’s just an amazing one! Congratulations! And all the best!
