The Starbucks workers that went on strike... had to end it because they couldn't afford to strike anymore. Then it was announced that the store is closing. All the workers who went on strike aren't eligible to transfer to other Starbucks locations. 🤣

NEW: Man has a complete meltdown in the Kansas City airport, threatens to slap female Southwest workers. "I'm from the UK, n*gga!" he said. Passengers waiting for their flight were seen standing up to defend the workers, as security was nowhere to be seen. The man was upset because his flight was delayed due to a bomb threat that closed down the entire airport, and apparently thought it was the Southwest workers' fault. The man was eventually arrested, according to the woman who filmed the video. Video: tpk316 / tt.

The called out the CEO directly, saying: " This is a message for Starbucks CEO Brian Niccol... We deserve better. Starbucks promised to finalize contracts with our union in 2024. You failed to do so because you refuse to address our concerns about staffing and take home pay now." Niccol made nearly $100 million in his first four months running the company. Baristas make $19 an hour on average.

The scene of tearful federal staffers leaving with boxes and bags of their things comes amid the Department of Government Efficiency’s dismantling of the agency in recent weeks, including cutting funding, placing workers on leave, and terminating contracts leaving only a fraction of USAID workers left. PBS News’ Lisa Desjardins was present outside of the building and recorded this footage.$
