In fact, it will be helpful to telcos because Starlink will serve the hardest to serve customers that telcos otherwise have trouble doing with landlines or even with cell radio stations with cell towers. 5G is great for high-density situations like being here in D.C. or New York, San Francisco. 5G is great for high-density situations, but it's actually not great for the countryside. So, Starlink will effectively serve the 3 or 4% of the hardest-to-reach customers for telcos, or people who simply have no connectivity right now or connectivity is really bad. I have seen this video in many WhatsApp groups, and many of you sent it to me too. The solution to this problem is for Mnangagwa’s Government to license Starlink and open up the market. But will that happen? Old technology is expensive to run, new technology makes things cheaper. Without Starlink the price of data will remain ridiculously high because of less competition and of course the economy is in a free fall too.

I have seen this video in many WhatsApp groups, and many of you sent it to me too. The solution to this problem is for Mnangagwa’s Government to license Starlink and open up the market. In order to address this, what we worked with the Ukrainian government to create a whitelist of approved Starlink terminals. Now, this has some downsides, because a whole bunch of people who were just innocent users of Starlink and just trying to access the internet for work or for education, now don't have Starlink. It is currently in flight as BA197 from London Heathrow to Houston, Texas; the first BA commercial flight with Starlink! I think Starlink is wildly undervalued. It’s a $1+ trillion company in the making on its own. A lot of people still think Starlink is just “internet from space,” but in reality, it’s one of the most important communications networks ever built. In 2025 alone, Starlink generated $11.4 billion in revenue, accounting for roughly 61% of SpaceX’s total revenue. It served more than 10 million customers globally and generated $4.4 billion in operating profit w/ EBITDA margins of 63%. Starlink is a cash machine. Fyi, independent analysts forecast Starlink will generate approximately $20 billion in revenue, $14 billion in EBITDA, and over $8 billion in free cash flow in 2026… plus consumer broadband will continue to expand rapidly, while aviation, maritime, Starshield, and direct-to-cell services will open entirely new markets. The real advantage is that Starlink owns the entire stack. SpaceX builds the satellites, they launch the satellites, they operate the network, and they manufacture the user terminals. No competitor comes close to that level of vertical integration…. On top of this, starship will make the story even more crazier with next-generation satellites, 100+ satellites per launch, dramatically lowering launch costs, and thousands of new satellites being deployed each year, the cost of serving additional customers continuing to fall, while the network & tech keep getting stronger. Elon explained on Tesla’s latest Q2 earnings call why Starlink integration in Teslas is so important. “Starlink will be integrated into all our car vehicles, at least for markets that Starlink is active.” It will start with the Cybercab and is expected to expand across the Tesla fleet. It’s important for Robotaxis to have reliable coverage everywhere, they shouldn’t ever enter cellular dead zones, especially in places like Silicon Valley for example. Meanwhile, I’m driving to Yosemite in my Cybertruck right now while FSD handles the entire drive and Starlink beams internet to me directly from space. • 123 Mbps down • 25 Mbps up • 42 ms latency 1/ Tesla builds the vehicle. 2/ FSD drives it. 3/ Starlink keeps it connected.
