SpaceX is 10xing solar power in orbit every few years Here’s the progression for Starlink: • Gen 1 Starlink: ~3,000 satellites generating ~10 MW in orbit • Gen 2 Starlink: ~7,000 satellites generating ~100 MW • Gen 3 Starlink: expected to reach ~1,000 MW - 1 gigawatt of solar power in orbit Starlink was already revolutionary for global internet But the bigger story is that every new generation is also expanding SpaceX’s orbital power infrastructure • More satellites • More bandwidth • More solar power • More capability in orbit This matters because the future is not just satellites for internet It is satellites for communications, sensing, space data networks, and eventually orbital AI compute powered directly by solar SpaceX is not just building Starlink It is building the power and communications backbone for the next era of infrastructure in space

🚨 ELON’S INVERSE DYSON SPHERE: SPACE ISN’T EMPTY ANYMORE, IT’S FULL OF STARLINK SpaceX is on track to smash through 10,000 satellites in orbit by Feb 2026, basically gift-wrapping Earth in a glowing shell of Starlink. This isn’t sci-fi, it’s literally happening. With a swarm of satellites so dense, we’re inching toward a future where every square degree of sky has high-speed connectivity flying through it. What began as a plan to bring the internet to remote villages now looks more like Elon’s orbital empire, part telecom revolution, part space flex. Starlink isn’t just building a network… It’s transforming the skies. Source: Javi Lopez ⛩️, SpaceX, Starlink

🇺🇸 SPACEX JUST COMPLETED ITS 100TH STARLINK LAUNCH OF THE YEAR A Falcon 9 rocket lifted just off from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California, sending 28 more Starlink satellites into orbit and officially marking SpaceX’s 100th Starlink launch of 2025. Each of these missions adds to a massive satellite network that’s delivering internet from space to users around the globe, from NYC to the most remote spots on Earth. SpaceX is making it look easy, but building a space-based internet system at this scale is something no one else has even come close to pulling off. Source: Black Hole

STARLINK HITS 5 YEAR MILESTONE: 7 MILLION USERS From 1 customer to 7 million, Starlink has rocketed into homes across 150 countries. What started as an experiment in space-based internet is now a global lifeline for remote villages, travelers, and off-grid adventurers. The promise of fast, low-latency internet from orbit has become a reality... scaling faster than most expected. 5 years after launch, Starlink isn’t just a backup plan. For many, it’s the only way to get online. Source: Starlink

The hotel’s Wi-Fi in Montana that I’m staying at today was absolute trash… so I decided to do something different. I parked my Cybertruck equipped with Starlink right outside my hotel room and connected to it instead. The difference wasn’t even close. Hotel Wi-Fi: • 13.7 Mbps download • 13.8 Mbps upload Starlink: • 121 Mbps download • 28 Mbps upload • 45 ms latency That’s about 9x faster download speeds and 2x faster upload speeds than the entire hotel’s Wi-Fi. This is exactly why I never travel without Starlink. Whether I’m in a national park, the middle of nowhere, or at a hotel with overloaded Wi-Fi, I know I can count on having fast, reliable internet to work, upload content, stream, or stay connected with my Starlink. Once you get used to bringing your own internet that gets beamed down from space wherever you are, you’ll never want to depend on legacy Wi-Fi again.

🇹🇼 SPACEX JUST LAUNCHED TAIWAN’S FIRST HOME-BUILT SATELLITE SpaceX fired up its Falcon 9 rocket from California and gave Taiwan’s brand-new Formosat-8 satellite a ride to space. This isn’t just some shiny tech toy. It’s the first fully built-in-Taiwan satellite meant for serious business: watching Earth, tracking disasters, and showing the world that Taiwan’s space game is no joke. The satellite, named “Chi Po-lin” after a famous Taiwanese aerial photographer, is the first in a planned constellation of eight. It’ll orbit at 561 kilometers above the Earth and snap high-res images for everything from urban planning to spotting deforestation. And no, it’s not just science class stuff. This thing helps with disaster response, climate monitoring, and yes, national security. About 84% to 86% of the satellite was built using Taiwanese-made tech, a huge leap for a country trying to grow its space independence. Taiwan’s space agency (TASA) plans to launch a new Formosat satellite every year until 2031. When it’s done, Taiwan will have its own sky-eye network scanning Earth like a sci-fi movie come to life. While some countries still rent satellite time or import the tech, Taiwan is doing it DIY-style. This is not only about building cool hardware, it’s about making sure they’re not depending on anyone else when it comes to critical data from space. And props to SpaceX for being the go-to launch partner for countries that actually build their own satellites. Elon’s rocket crew keeps proving that if it fits in the payload bay, they’ll get it to orbit fast, smooth, and with a cloud of fire. Sources: Al Arabiya English, RTI Taiwan, TVBS, Taiwan News

When the "Russian Starlink" will be operational - There's a ping! 8 megabits, 9, 10! It's working, it's working! Damn it, I'm not crying, it's just the internet getting to me! - Two young developers from the company "Bureau 1440" couldn't hold back their emotions at the displays. The data transfer speed from the first three satellites has risen to 12 Mbit/s, with a delay of 41 milliseconds... This was three years ago. This eloquently shows how people interested in and concerned about this segment of the space industry have been waiting for the emergence of such a project. In the vernacular, it's immediately dubbed the "Russian Starlink". Officially - "Dawn". Broadband high-speed internet (up to 1 Gbit/sec!), which is distributed directly from the sky. The beginning was laid, although to Starlink we are still as far away as to that very sky. Until yesterday evening, six experimental satellites of the system were "hanging" in low orbit. They were used to test the concept of laser inter-satellite communication. On Monday evening, a launch vehicle deployed 16 devices at once. And this is the first batch launch of the project. But talking about creating a full-fledged satellite communication system, similar to Elon Musk's brainchild, is, of course, too premature. Twenty-two satellites will be enough for real tests and pilot operation with individual clients. The launch of the commercial service was scheduled for 2027. By that time, 292 satellites should be in orbit, which will provide global coverage of Russia with full-fledged broadband internet. Compared to Starlink's seven-thousand-satellite constellation, this seems insignificant. But "Dawn" is not yet positioning itself as a competitor to Musk. Our priority is to first provide ourselves with high-quality satellite internet. We'll conquer the world later. There, the plans are to cover more than 75 countries by 2035. But before that, it's important to ensure uninterrupted data transmission to at least our group in the Southern Military District (SMD). By the end of this year, it was planned to launch more than a hundred and fifty satellites into orbit. This is enough for partial coverage of Russia's territory. And it would have been enough for active tests in the SMD zone. However, the program's deadlines have already been shifted by a year. And everything will depend on the number of launches and spacecraft deployed into orbit. And, of course, on the production of ground terminals. The prospect of experimental connections on the front is already visible this year. But a full-scale deployment is unlikely before 2027.

This is becoming my new hotel routine. I park my Cybertruck close to my room, plug in Starlink, let the truck power it through the night, and I have reliable internet straight from space. Meanwhile, my computer is connected to the hotel Wi-Fi, and the difference is honestly ridiculous. You can see the speed test for yourself. It’s 2026. There is no reason hotel Wi-Fi should still be this bad. After traveling around the U.S., I’ve realized just how many hotels still have slow, unreliable internet. At this point, hotels should seriously start looking at Starlink. Solid, reliable internet is so important to customers now… a lot of people work, stream, take video calls, upload files, and run entire businesses while traveling. For me, I guess though, it doesn’t really matter right now bc my Cybertruck is sitting outside my room powering Starlink all night, and I have fast, reliable internet wherever I am in the hotel. There’s something pretty wild about being at a hotel with horrible Wi-Fi… while my truck outside is pulling the world’s best internet down from space, just from pointing the Starlink Mini at the sky. Starlink is an absolute game changer, and businesses that don’t adapt are going to lose customers to the ones that do.

This floral-dress Karen parking lot clip isn’t about a parking spot. It’s about a person treating a public parking space like a reservation she already paid for. “I was waiting” is not a claim. Touching someone else’s car or truck is not enforcement. Filming it is now the default third party in every petty dispute. We used to settle this with a look and a different space. Now it’s content. These people need professional help.
