Starmer is asked whether his close ally Mandelson has questions to answer for staying at Jeffrey Epstein's New York townhouse whilst Epstein was in prison for soliciting prostitution from a minor 'I don't know any more than you do.'

Starmer: "To change Britain, we must change ourselves – we need to clean up politics" Journalist: "Was one of your key advisors besties with a convcted sex offender?" Starmer: "LOL I dunno, maybe"

You would expect a man in control of an organisation to have asked, and received satisfactory answers.

@DauphinRattle You'd think he would like to know the extent of his top advisor's involvement with a convicted child sexual abuser? This does not seem FORENSIC to me. Doesn't it leave him wide open for scandal? What does Petie have on Starmer? All very strange.

Don’t ask, don’t tell

Follow up question "Considering you know as much as us about how dreadful Peter Mandelson is, why is he advising you?"

'I don't know any more than you do.' Isn't Sir Keir Starmer supposed to be 'forensic'? But assuming this to be true - with what 'we' know about Madelson & Epstein - would you have him as your advisor?

Mandelson has had to leave a Labour government twice. Integrity, honesty, decency and goodness appear to marginally fit. How on earth is he again a key advisor

So the man with a forensic nature, who want to restore a grip on politics, has not at any stage asked his close friend and advisor for more details on why he regularly visited a notorious nonce.

Starmer stuttering and shaking when asked a question about Mandelson 😀 I thought he was doing the old Penguin advert....per per per per per Peter 😀 Didn't look like a man bringing honesty back to politics to me 🤔

If I was constantly dogged by accusations of failing to prosecute infamous paedophile Jimmy Saville I would probably want to distance my self from associates of other infamous paedophile Jeffery Epstein. Forensic sir!
